Sadly, I think Jerry will stick to his "continuity" guns and give Wade/Coach Tecmo the full season to complete the implosion. When the season ends all bets are off.

And THEN Coach Tecmo will be the HC.

Jerry would be a great coach with some talented coordinators. He'd be the only coach not named Johnson or Parcells in his tenure as owner to have any actual authority.

And you wouldn't be able to logically support that claim. You'll find the same things posted on every other teams' forums. I have proven this in the past with links to other forums of the same things being said, and people responding the exact same way you are here. Bottom line is that people are people everywhere. I think and I don't know how the season will go on, I just know that we didn't do anything to get better.

But I say that the fans, media, are looking for someone's head to roll if get off to a bad start, I don't think their will be patience. I can see a scenario in which if we happen to get off to an 0-fer like 0 and 3 start or something like that, I could see Jerry canning Wade and allowing Garrett to take over momentarily, just to see if he can get the job done, if not, then both will be gone by next season if things implode.

We're easily a better team than last year simply by virtue of the atmosphere that is going to be in the locker room, huddle, and sidelines.

On top of that we've got the Draft coming up where we can add some new blood. It's always good to churn the roster a bit.

I think the coaches and players are embarrassed and motivated to erase 2008. Further, I think they will. I don't know how far they will go until they get going, but there will be better results in 2009. Hey, we already have a game in January. It has been a while.

I'm speculating here, but I think Jerry is regretting sticking behind Wade before the 44-6 beating. His troops just laid down. Not a good sign when your players stop playing for you. And its not a promotion of Garrett either, those guys don't seem like they command any attention.

Mike Shanahan or Jason Garrett would've been our coach this year had Jerry not made those dumb comments before the Eagles game.
