After destroying Philly and then beating the Giants, most people here were arguing whether the Cowboys were going to be in the Super Bowl.

Today, everyone is posting about how this team has fatal and insurmountable flaws.

Which all begs the question: how many times can the sky fall?

Here is a hint to everyone here: things are never nearly as good or nearly as bad as most of the crazies here portray them as.

Well it will probably depend on how many "Ws" we give away.

Its the ups and downs of a fickle fan base.

Two weeks ago, people said Marion Barber was a bust. Now he is good.

Many people are massively inconsistent, but many have been consistent.

Alot of those people talking about these holes have been talking about them for weeks or even months. They just get drowned out when the team wins and the unlikely Super Bowl talk fires up.

No, it's plain and simple, when you play to lose week after week, eventually....you lose.

We played for the fieldgoal against the Commanders, and we all know how that turned out.

We played for the fieldgoal against the Giants, they drove the ball and tied the game. Luckly, Bledsoe got a good drive together in OT and we won that game.

Yesterday, you guessed it, we played for the fieldgoal, not once, but twice. Seahawks got the ball (we all knew it would happen) and the rest is history. This time, Bledsoe forced a pass and the Seahawks kicker hit a low percentage kick . We lose.

It's simple people, if you play to lose......you will usually lose.

If you play for a fieldgoal instead of going for the throat, a fieldgoal is all you will get.

Really, it gets tiring after a win or loss, when there fans out to calm or down the masses on the board. As if everyone is clueless and there are the only ones with calm thoughts

As you pointed out, quite a few of people here have been pretty consistant in support or concerns. Its the floating public or posters that come here to overreact or there are few select overreacters that always tend to overreact anyway.

I think it can fall up to 20 times a season (including preseason), depending on whether or not we go 0-20 ;)

Clearly, we need more threads telling the people who make other threads detailing their concerns to stop making the threads that detail their concerns so we'll have plenty of threads telling the people who make other threads detailing their concerns to stop making the threads. Or something.

right now this team is still an 8-8 or 9-7 team as stated all during the preseason...when we manage to play a little bit consistantly and can stay 3 games above .500 without continually slipping back to the pack, then we'll know we're a playoff team...not yet. Right now we're a team that went from first to last place because we lost a winnable game. We're supposed to win next week, but we can't afford to then give back another one the week after the bye.
