Kinda slow with the 10 day layoff, so thought I would throw this out there.
I have been a fan 40 years in 2015.

How bout the rest of you ?

1965

Salesmanship Club Game summertime in the Cotton Bowl.

I was about 12 years old.

Dad was a transplanted Commanders fan as he was in the FBI there in Washington DC where I was born.

We were transferred to Dallas and Dad retired in Dallas and he bought season tickets for the whole family..

5 of us..

We all immediately became huge fans and I grew up hating Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr.

What a way to start out.

1979 myself. So envious of those that got to watch the earlier 70's Super Bowls live. I had to watch them much later on VHS.

1975ish......i was born into a Cowboys family in 1967. I can only hold myself a fan about 8 years old. Still here..Got to see my first live game in 1980 vs the falcons. The name of that stadium escapes me at the moment.

oh, yeah Fulton County stadium...lost that game 20-17. I've got the pleasure to see 11 more games since...that's the only loss.

i only wish that younger cowboy fans could have witnessed the 70's up to 1984.

we were really special to watch.

if we had michael downs and everson walls the past few years ............we would not have been 8-8....trust me.

they would have two picks both against sanchez this sunday.

i don't even want to mention what mike would do to ertz and celek..

md 26 was a tight end killer.

My grandfather went to SMU, and became a cowboy fan and passed that to my dad. Then my dad went to SMU and still rooted for Dallas, since he lived here for a while. Now I am currently an undergrad at SMU, 20, and thank to the family tradition basically I'm a cowboy fan since I was born, but I've been following the team for 8 years now. By the way, we're from Panama, in Central America. Die-hard cowboy family down here!!

I was born in 1971... a Cowboys fan before I knew it... at 5-6 years old I was able to skip church so I could sit with dad and watch the Cowboys...
these were literally the days when you get a quarter for fetchin' dad a beer in the fridge.... I vaguely remember the SB win over Denver... and unfortunately
I remember a little too well the 35-31 loss to the Steelers... the cool part to this story is that my son was born in November during the year of the Triplets first SB run...
at the time, my dad was living with me... we sat and watched Dallas destroy Buffalo 52-17... three generations... My dad, myself and my son who I named Tyler Dallas...
it is an awesome memory... thanks for helping me re-live it.
