We have been having a sustained discussion on how much Dak will get out of all this.

Or how much is it going to cost against the cap going forward.

I have been saving this question for awhile now.

    So what is Frances' cut?

    15%

    20%

    higher?

And so the total including France's commish is on top of the contract or included in the contract?

My guess is that it's on top of the contract.

Does anybody know about that? Not guesses..real knowledge.

How that works has a big effect of the final contract which has not been signed yet.

I do not recall ever hearing how the accounting goes with the league on that stuff.

Is Dak negotiating to cover the France commish in his deal? By adding more guaranteed money and shortening the years? Is this really paying for his legal help?

If it's a net figure then that's one thing..

if its gross, that's a larger amount.

    Capologists front and center.

Some of you must have got a clue here.

    Just ruminating..chew chew spit.

    Sigh.......

It's around 3 to 5 percent. And it's not on top of the contract. The agent gets his cut from Dak. It has zero effect on the salary cap

    Sigh..

So you just think..do not know?

So Dak asking for more money is to cover his agent's fees probably?

I would think it is. Sort of a cost of doing business thing. I wonder if there is a mandated commish schedule for agents to have to adhere to.?

But 3-5 % sounds a non-starter. Got to be more than that..especially when this stuff take almost 2 years before it really gets done.

Would you have something to show what addresses what you said.?

Or is that 5 years ago?

let me know if you really know.

You say its not off the top of the contract and Dak has to pay it. Then that percentage is included in the salary for cap purposes?

    Thanx.

It's capped at 3%. Marketing deals are not capped.

    Nah..

I try to avoid that where possible. Google is a freakin' algorithum. Kids swear by it like it's a Bible. Same with Facebook.

Heard they cleaned out like 5 million false accounts there. Oh yeah..it's all factual.

I thought there had to be a cap on it.

So I guess that just leaves where the percentage falls?

I used to work for attorney's and they had all sorts of ways to get paid.

    I just extended it out..

    $31,000,000 times .03% is $930,000

That just seems way too low to me.

Why would an attorney or agent plus the support staff only charge that?

    Not sure that is accurate.

I will see what else comes in.

    Thanks.

    I see.

Been doing it all wrong my whole life.

Google is not an end to a means.

It's a means to an end.

    Gotcha.
