How nervous were you in the 2nd half?

Dallas was one dumb screen by philly from losing. If you were confident, you were dumb. I cant say i was nervous because i dont care enough about football for it to do that to me, but i wasnt expecting a win.

What I learned this week:

- confidence is dumb
- Dak might be/may be.... there's a slight chance that he might be good as a possible back up.... maybe....

The only one making me nervous was Sproles. I don't know what switch went off or if they shrank the rotation down, but they made multiple big plays on Sproles to stop the momentum and wear him down. The Eagles then tried to change it up but had no other weapon. On offense Dak just looked confused, his throws to Dez were off and they were not adjusting. When the trick play came out I got really worried that they had no real answers. I think in the end, the defense getting 3 and outs and the big fumble by smallwood tired out the Eagles D and didn't give them time to adjust. Why they didn't blitz more in overtime I'm not sure. Dallas must have showed something to make them think they had it figure out.

I'll be honest, when we fumbled the opening kick my reaction was "It's going to be one of those games..." and then in the second half I just kept hoping for some sort of turnover. That's been the key for our defense is that we've been forcing turnovers and we hadn't done that with the eagles... So I was preparing for defeat, a sorta-comeback, but ultimately defeat.

When Philly ran that screen or swing pass on third down expecting their one legged center to get out there and block Sean Lee and took themselves out of field goal range I figured they were too stupid to win. Then not calling a timeout at the end removed all doubt.

Down by 10 early in 4th, with Dak throwing erratically and their defense beating the OL, I thought a loss was imminent.

I was pretty pessimistic being down more than one score.

Not with Dak under Center, with the "other guy" , I would have just turned off the game.

I could not type any more and close the laptop.
Then proceeded to eat up entire salad to feed 2 people, after wolfing down 15 buffalo wings in the 1st half.
Dont feel so good...

Zero nerves here. I knew we'd win... I have to say though it was kinda fun watching the chat room spontaneously combust.

There was one moment where everyone piled on my boy Oscan. Like everyone... The very next play, he proceeded to blitz and sack Carson Flatz almost knocking the ball loose as he shot out of a cannon towards the scrambling rook.

I then exited lurk mode to let them know they were lame.

Moral of the story: Oscan is better than you.
