How should Dallas approach the Offensive Line this Off-Season?

There are about 15 different ways they could attack the o-line problem.
What would you do in their position?

I think the Cowboys will stick with what they have at the moment and just draft a guard in the top 3 rounds.

If it were me I would Post June 1st cut Steele and rotate Guyton over to RT.
Sign a legitimate LT in FA
Draft a top 3 center in this draft, probably round 3-5. Hoffman as backup or bridge.
Move Beebe to RG. He has gotten better at C, but he was always a better G prospect. At least, he can play C in a pinch now if need be.

Any Ideas?

Leave Cooper at center. by the end of this year he is going to be better than Biadasz. He has the power and quickness to be a Pro Bowl Center; he just needs more experience. Considering he had never played a game at center until this year, he has done very well.
Steele needs replacing. Some people never come all the way back from injuries despite todays sports medicine.
Martin is gone; that is clear. Guyton? Another player very inexperienced playing the toughest position on the O line. You have to give him more time.
Leave Tyler at Guard where he is an ALL PRO.
So realistically you have to replace RG and RT. I hear they are high on Bass and he seems to have done fairly well. I guess RG goes to him; depending on how the staff feels about him. so that leaves RT. Richards might be a possibility there.

I can see the boys standing pat on the OL for the time being.

So at the moment the only real change I would make is fire Solari and get a better OL Coach.

We have so many needs that at the moment leave the OL for next draft or FA.

It all starts with watching Asim Richards on Monday night. He wasn't bad against the Eagles.

him and bass are our best in house hopes
It would be awesome if we can get some decent play from Richards and Bass. Then Guyton maybe can play right tackle. I think Beebe and Tyler Smith will be solid at center and left guard.

I'm not drafting a high offensive lineman, unless there is a blinking light type of player. We have a ton of prospects in the pipeline that are developing: Richards, Bass, Guyton, Thomas. Even if our Right side leaves, we have talent already within the roster that just needs experience to grow. I think more important is hiring a good OL coach to develop this young group!

BEST thing we could do for the O line is show Solari the door

Knowing that Martin may (probably will) retire and that will leave a monster hole to fill inside. And that Steele hasn't rebounded as hoped, so he's probably released (or hopefully traded for something).
You have Guyton, Smith, Beebe, Richards, Bass, Hoffman and Waletzko remaining on the active roster. Ball on the PS and Edoga* on IR (will he still be under contract?)

You can rework the entire line by moving Guyton to RT, Smith to LT, Richards to LG and Bass to RG.
Or, look to draft another OT early, possibly in RD 1 again, but probably RD 2.
Let him, Smith and Guyton battle for LT/RT duties. Let the odd man out of that group, Richards, Edoga* and Bass battle it out for the LG/RG spots.

The Cowboys have spent lots of draft capital on the offensive line the last few years. Let the kids develop we have plenty of other needs.

They better find a monster to replace Martin because the NFC East has multiple stud defensive tackles to face every year.

This…we might be looking at replacing the right aide but I’m hopefully Richards continues to develop and one of youngsters can step up for RG.

But def not ignoring OL at any point if it’s a blinking light type of player.

Richards/Bass have looked good in limited snaps. They drafted Thomas last year who potentially could be in the mix, but he is further down the line. They also have the option of moving Beebe to Guard. Tyler could even play tackle, but he is elite at Guard.

It is my understanding these top tackles would be behind even Guyton as prospects.

i hope they look to replace terrence steele.
i love the guy but he is regressing since the injury.
i would keep guyton on the left with smith at guard.
beebe is going to be a solid center.
if changes are made...it'll be on the right.
i would love texas ot kelvin banks.
i also like ajani cornelius,oregon...josh simmons,ohio st.
and donovan jackson...simmons teammate.
he is an excellent guard who has filled in for simmons at ot and been solid.
i love those kids on georgia's oline.
there are some solid options to look to up-grade the RT spot within the first 3 rds.
hope we do that.
if zack martin retires...donovan jackson would be my target in rd2 or 3.

Will Campbell is miles ahead of where Guyton was a prospect. He went toe to toe with Dallas Turner as a 19 year old Sophomore and more than held his own.

He’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Some believe his best position will be at Guard on the next level. Time will tell. You know I wasn't a fan of the Guyton pick and his immaturity concerns are starting to rear his ugly head, heard he can play through his neck injury, but decided against it.

Guyton will play LT next season. Tackles usually improve markedly between year 1 and 2, and Guyton has shown enough that I'm not writing him off yet.

Tyler Smith will play LG. Hopefully on a fat new contract, because he has been nothing but awesome.

Beebe will play center. Interior OL can take two or even or three seasons to develop, so even as rough as he's been as a pass blocker, I would keep giving him reps. If you want good pass blocking right now, you should have re-signed Biadasz after he went up his learning curve.

RG is open, with Martin almost certainly leaving or retiring. This spot is wide open.

RT will be open with Steele hopefully off the roster.

I think Asim Richards will take one of those two spots... he's shown enough for us to trust him a bigger role. I'd prefer to see him at tackle, because he's got the feet and length for it. The other spot that Richards doesn't take is going to need a high draft pick or a FA signing, no way around it.

We still need LT, Guyton was never the answer. If there’s a potential franchise LT available you have to strongly consider that player. Guyton can do Steele’s job the next 3 years at a fraction of the price.

Guyton has def shown improvement as the year has gone on…similar to Tyler his rookie year.

TBD on if he can be the guy but his play has been trending upwards.

If Campbell’s status holds up he should be on the radar.

They can sign a free agent guard and tackle.
