Wonderlic scores are completely overrated, Terrelle Pryor scored a 7 and Cordarrelle Patterson scored an 11. Would you take those guys on your team?
All that he needs to do is tackle the man with the ball and he knows how to do that.

I'll give you Trubisky, Watson and Kizer but still unconvinced Mahomes gets there.

I have no clue what the world sees in Kizer. I don't see even a backup QB. He's somewhat mobile, but his throws are erratic. You can work with someone if they consistently over-throw or under-throw. What do you do with a QB that does both?

Well people said the same thing about Dak and hyped up Jared Goff and Paxton Lynch......I guess you never really know.!

The closer we get to the draft, the less talented a lot of these d-line prospects look. I'm really not impressed with anyone outside of Garrett. Even at 28, I don't see a DE being BPA. I don't want to force a DL pick just because it's a need. Keep doing what we have been doing and don't try to force it.
At this point, a safety or CB is MORE of a need than DL. Yes, we need both, but we have a serviceable line. Our secondary has been wiped out in free agency.

I'm not even impressed with Barnett as far as pass rushers go. I think he's very similar to Lawrence and Irving. I want a guy screaming off the corner, not another dude who's going to run to the OL. If we didn't have Irving/Lawrence, I would be bigger on Barnett though.

A younger, healthier Tank Lawrence would be very valuable to this team. Don't get me wrong: I'd love to land a Garrett-level prospect; but it's not happening. Unfortunately, we can't rely on Tank--and even if we could, having two would not be a bad thing.

I don't get it either. The talking heads on TV seem convinced. Glad he won't be a Cowboy.

Never read that Dak throws were erratic. I read that he had good mechanics, but his style was similar to Tim Tebow, and needed to learn how operate in the pocket.

He had accuracy issues when being pressured and not setting his feet. Cropped up at times last year as well.

WEAKNESSES: Work in progress as a passer but has a live arm and good field vision. His footwork is inconsistent and he loses accuracy when his feet are not set.

Tends to predetermine some throws and relies on a lot of back shoulder patterns, something that got him in trouble against Auburn and Alabama. Has not shown the consistency to lead his team through the air in tough road environments when the ground game is shut down.

He should be there around the 28th pick.
But also Harris will be too.
I am not one for undersized players. Especially at DE.

I still think if there is a SS available when we pick and he is close to being a player we have on the board about equal with a DE. I am thinking we take the SS.

Not one for undersized players but you are touting Harris? Harris may be an inch taller but he's almost 20 lbs lighter and not nearly as fast/powerful.

I like Takk, he plays like a crazed animal. Bring in Ware to tighten up his technique.

No, not touting Harris at all. I been saying since January I do not want Harris.

I don't see dlaw being here next season. I'd prefer a different type of player.

Never quite understand the call outs to bring in former players to coach. If Ware is needed to do this, what are we paying Leon Lett for?

I never quite understand the call outs for more coaching and mentoring? It's not your money. And if Lett doesn't seem to mind when Charles Haley or Randy White provides one on one instruction so why should you?
