How Will Dallas Finish The Season?

I think Dallas still has a shot at home field advantage. Philly is our only threat for the division and they'll be without their starting QB for the season. I think people are forgetting just how bad Mark Sanchez is. Arizona just lost Carson Palmer for the year and they don't have a backup. People forget how bad Arizona's QB situation was prior to Palmer. The NFC South is a joke. The Saints can make the playoffs at 5-11. Our biggest threat comes down to the NFC North with the Lions and Packers. I think we can finish ahead of both teams. At worst I see us getting a 1st round bye. I have us going 5-1, only losing to the Colts.

my take is that we can can win every one of those remaining games and just as easily lose any one of them, that means we will go probably go 3-3.

The thing with the Cardinals and Eagles losing their starting QBs is neither was playing well. I don't think there's much drop off, if any, going to the backup.

This isn't Romo to Weeden. That's crippling.

11-5. Probably win a playoff game or two and get bounced in the NFC Championship.

Sanchez will play great and we will be cursing our turkey on Thanksgiving.

I'm still sticking to 8-8 until we win 9 games.

We were 7-4 in 2011 and ended up winning only 1 more game.

You need a defense in the playoffs and so far the Cowboys are still average at best. Cowboys are not going to the NFC championship game, but enjoy their 15 minutes of glory in the first round and an exit in the second.

Is it unrealistic to think a team that started 6-1 can finish 4-2 or 5-1? Think about it.

Well, historically Dallas plays bad in Dec and in cold weather. Also Romo is bruised and battered again. Also we have 4 out of 6 games on the road and 4 divisional games.

If we stick to the script of running the ball and Romo stays healthy, then we could go 4-2 or 5-1 or even win out in some heroic way, but this team doesnt necessarily have a history of responding well under the brighter lights. I certainly have my doubts.

I am not looking at past seasons to determine our final outcome. It has zero effect, really.

We have been a good road team. Say we go 3-1 there. If we just split our home games we are 11-5.

Every team has to be good in 1 area to make it as far as the nfc championship. Yes we have an average defense but we have an amazing offense. Tell that to the 2010 packers. They were an average defense but were good at causing turnovers. Hmm why does that sound familiar???? (2014 cowboys)

4-2 we will split with Philly. Other loss will be a crap shoot. Because I think we beat the Colt's.

I say we finish 11-5 and win the NFC East, losing once to Philly (win Thanksgiving game, lose game in Philly) and Colts. Clinch No. 2 seed and lose to GB in the NFC Championship.

Playoffs needed to be secured. First , after that lets see, my guess 11-5 is possible.
