How would you attack the giants if they faced again?

i would treat Prescott like a rb in that he can always takeoff and run even if its three yards and even lower the shoulder. We can't get behind the chains again.

And I would be more aggressive down the sideline with dez against Jenkins. Dez isn't consistent but sometimes he has a matchup he likes and just big brothers cornerbacks. I don't want them sitting on everything zeke related.

Precise short routes. Have it be an extension of our running game. Run on pass plays and vice versa. Mix it up to keep them off balanced. Exploit obvious mismatches like Beasley vs a 3rd corner or Witt vs any of their LBs. I anticipate a better game from Dez too. It seems like Dak is having much better chemistry with all of his weapons now.

Funny thing is, I don't think we have to change much. I actually look forward to seeing them in the playoffs. We're ready.

You just have to find a way to move the ball against press coverage and all out blitzes.

It's sent us home many times before and we've watch Tony Romo and the offense look absolutely puzzled because of it.

I'd play them at home instead of on the road...oh lookey here!

You know what I haven't seen in a long time? A patent pending slant by Dez. This is the perfect route vs their blitz. It will compliment our short routes as well. Just methodically move the chains. We don't need home runs. Dak needs to take what the defense gives him like he's always does. When we get a chance to take our shot downfield, that's when the coaches upstairs come in. They can see what coverages they are using and advise Linehan when we need to take our shots.

We need to constantly pound them and hit them with short passes. Eventually their DL will get tired which will slow down their pass rush and inhibit their ability to stop the run.

Lastly - don't let them substitute. What that means, is, go with a few no-huddles. I trust the power/skill/conditioning of our OL to wear them down this way too.

I think that's a big deal against them. Don't run the hurry up, but don't huddle and force them to keep their 11 out there, and be ready to snap it in seconds if they try to sneak subs in. The Packers are awesome at that.

I may be alone in this, but I think Garrett has got to get the ball downfield against the NYG. They have no fear of a deep ball, and playing one on one on the outside because he didn't make them pay for it. Garrett has to find a way to loosen them up. IMO, if that game happens for a 3rd time, whether or not the Cowboys win will hinge on Dez earning his fat contract.

Our offense needs to be the aggressor. Quick slants and screens. Use to RBs and have one run to a flat at all times to stretch their front seven. Use Beasley back there if needed.

Turning Dak into an RB isn't going to beat the Giants he'll end up getting injured with that approach. The type of game we're playing now will beat them but we can't commit these offensive penalties that put us behind the chains which is what hurt us in the last game. The Giants won both games by a combined total of only 4 points.

Church dropped a couple of picks against them the last time. Take what they'll give us and stop committing penalties. When Eli throws one directly at you, catch the damn thing. Stay in manageable downs and distances by avoiding penalties and we'll be fine against them.

For one I would make the refs call pass interference all game long because that's what they do. It's like NBA when a team fouls and handchecks all game. You get called a few times but refs get tired of making the call. Eventually the defense is mugging receivers with no call....so I make sure a lot of my throws are on the Cowboys sidelines and I'm giving the ref an earful all game. I would also throw some things in there they haven't seen much. Maybe split Zeke out wide and come in motion like lucky does with McFadden in backfield. I get Dez some quick passes early to get him going. There than that you have to get Collins out of the box and you do so by getting the ball downfield early and often. I think we beat them if we get them again

Defensively we have played pretty well, so not much should change there other than avoiding the single big play Beckham seems to get against us.

Offensively, I would use the Giants aggressiveness against them. Roll outs with misdirection which freezes the linebackers. Use Beasley .... and Witten a lot. Go for high percentage plays. Get Zeke more involved in screens and the passing game.

[1] Actually catch some interceptions.
[2] Be focused, because this one actually means something.
[3] Practice short hot routes all week - if our NY approach had been remotely close to the faster developing and varied game plans of the past two weeks, we would have handled the Giants away and in the cold. They are not going to beat us at home.

Here is my take:

1) Change up our tendencies and formations. It was clear to me last game that the Giants knew exactly what we were doing.
2) No huddle offense to keep their fatties on the field and gasping. Do it for a drive or two during the game.
3) Cut out the penalties on offense. We can't being in 3rd and long holes against this defense and expect to have any success.
4) Run Zeke 30+ times.
5) Run a few draws on 3rd down to Zeke. It baffles me we haven't done this really at all.
