How would you rate Jerry as the GM?

Tank, Owens, Jones, Thomas, Ayodele free agents that didn't work out.
Roy Williams, Owens, Barber, big money that probably shouldn't have been spent. Barber is the only one you could make an argument for but there is talk he might not even start anymore.3

The drafts have been terrible for some time now.

Coaches have been a revolving door.

I give him a "D"

I give him an A+

offseason is going exactly how I wanted it to, minus getting rid of Roy (wanted him to restructure)

I agree w/the revolving door comment.
Last year's draft was pretty good, in my opinion.

Going back several years not on yesterday, you can't look at the drafts, free agent signings, overpaying players, lack of winning and say he is doing well can you?

Jerruh needs to realize that he needs a football man in charge. Not an oil man playing with his toys.

Is their something lower than an "F"?

The reason we're all here arguing is because Jerry is a freaking joke. He's a literal clown visually and football-wise. When he stops hiring yes-men, people that are just happy to have a job, but someone who's young and enthusiastic, let this guy hire is own coaches, he will be a joke and a Clown.

If he wants to help in the drafting department, I don't really have a problem with that cause he's actually good at that, but as far as finding leadership and a mastermind coach who can build a team via coaching staff and players, he is inferior.

Well he's better than the idiot GM who signed TO and used a top 10 pic on a safety...oh, wait......

According to today's San Antonio Express-News, Jerry did not want to release TO b/c TO was such a media star but Stephen Jones persuaded him otherwise. So, if Jerry had followed his instincts, he would have put media play above team harmony.

As I wrote in my first post on this blog, Jerry is a great owner and terrible GM. And as has been said many times, there is not a team in the league that would hire Jerry as GM w/o his checkbook.

F-
grossly overpays JAGs
hands out christmas bonuses in July
reactive, not proactive.
always a day late.
his snake-oil salesmanship fools players & fans.
bad gambler, never knows when to fold instead of doubling down.
slow learner, who seems to need a gun to held to his head to make a good decision

Jerry Jones the owner should fire JJ the GM and hire a real NFL guy to run the player personnel! Look at the past 13 years!

The grade is: F

B, but jerry jones is learning, you cant buy a championship,

there must be leaders first on the team, then you can go get players like a charles haley or deion sanders, but the team must be built first with leaders and army ants first

THE ANTI-T.O. LIST

Posted by Mike Florio on March 5, 2009, 11:17 a.m. EST
As we’re doing with Mike Vick, we’ll be keeping a running tally of all of the teams that have said ”thanks” followed immediately by “no thanks” to the possibility of signing receiver Terrell Owens.
Please note that this only reflects teams that already have said that they’re not interested:
The Dallas Cowboys. (Duh.)
The New York Giants.
The Washington Commanders.
The Baltimore Ravens.
The San Francisco 49ers.
The Minnesota Vikings.
The Atlanta Falcons.
The Cleveland Browns.
The San Diego Chargers.
The Philadelphia Eagles.
The New York Jets.
The Tennessee Titans.
The St. Louis Rams.
The New Orleans Saints.
Here are the teams that likely will join the list soon:
The Miami Dolphins

I GIVE JERRY A+++++
This team needed a new direction and obviously every other team in the league confirms this notion..

If we are only talking about this offseason then I give him an incomplete since we haven't even had the draft yet.

Let's wait until after the draft at least to start handing out grades.

I like that we cut Adam Jones and Terrell Owens but was hoping we could work out a deal with Roy Williams to stay. I like signing Keith Brooking but don't like losing Burnett. Canty... I am OK with losing so long as Hatcher and/or Dixon or Bowen step up.
