First of all, this is a great looking site! You guys should be proud! Second of all...I'm a Chiefs fan (((ducking))).That's right, I'm a Chiefs fan that has lived in Cowboys country since the late 70s. In fact, the whole time I've been a pro football fan I've lived in the either Texas or Oklahoma, but I'm not a Cowboy hater, dont get me wrong. Being a Cowboys fan would certainly be more convenient for me...heck, I could see every game on TV, maybe wander down to Texas stadium every so often, and get the 'Boys latest info on local news. Being A Texas based Chiefs fan is tough, but easier thanks to the internet (especially high speed internet). After all, Arrowhead nearly 7 hours away. The Wichita Falls area is strangely void of other Chiefs fans, so not to many folks to chat Chiefs with, but enough of my sob story.

I've got good news! I'm going to my first ever Chiefs game Sunday. Not only that, but it will be my first ever (and obviously last) game at Texas Stadium. This will be a very special moment for me. Outside of obvious reasons, I'll bespending three hours in a place that represents a truly honrable franchise, a winning tradition and a big helping of Texas sports history. After seeing games at Texas stadium on TV for over 20 years I cant wait to finally see one in person, especially since the end is nigh for the stadium. I wanted you guys to know that even though I will watch the game wearing the "enemy's" colors I will be watching the game as a Texan who respects the home of a 5 time champion, loves the game of football and wants this to be a good, close game. Not to mention, the Jersey i'll be wearing will be that of a former Longhorn.

So when you see a Chiefs fan in the stands dont think of it as a supporter of the enemy, think of it as someone who wants to be part of a wonderful experience and get in on the buzz of Cowboys football. May the best team win!

Hey...welcome aboard...make sure you stick around even AFTER the game is over...we can always use more quality members. :)

I've been a Cowboy fan since 1965...no other teams interest me...with the exception of the Chiefs...mostly because of the early AFL days...Otis Taylor, a WR waaaay before his time. The size of the defensive front seven back then was also way before it's time. The LB's like Lanier and Bell were huge...as were the D-Linemen. Pretty cool

Then of course, the little scat backs behind that enormous offensive line made the team very unique.

Add Hank Stram to the sidelines...and you've got quite the show....

I have also liked Vermeil II very much.

All that said, I hope we kick your butts all over the field and into the parking lot. :D

Welcome, Archie.

I'm stationed at Sheppard AFB right now, but I'm currently deployed to Iraq. Thankfully, I've been able to either watch or listen to just about every Cowboys' game since I've been here.

Like most Texans, you seem like a really nice guy. Most fans from opposing teams have usually been pretty nice this season. Hopefully, that trend will continue.

It's going to be a tough game for both teams. I just hope we can break out of our offensive funk and get something going. It will be a great game to watch.

Thanks guys! The image I can't get outta my brain when I think about the Chiefs at Cowboys is Jay Novacek leaping over one of our safeties to score on a Thanksgiving day game.

Lets hope I can record over that image come Sunday.

Welcome. Gratz on going to the game, good luck to the chiefs, you may need it, but probably not - lol. Its a cool little place to hang out. Gotta check out the Ring behind the visitors bench and take a good look at Troy, Michael and Emmitt. It looks good.

Texas Stadium is a great place to watch a game. Everytime I look at the ring of honor and see coach Landry and his hat, it makes all Cowboy fans very proud! I hate to see Texas Stadium shut down. But, guess the best organization in the NFL deserves to have the best place to play!

Enjoy your game but I have to pull against you--sorry! Go Cowboys!

hey archie you are a real class act! i wish there were more of your type who always respects the other team. and doesnt try to talk smack back and forth, even though its fun. respectable discussions are better. my dad is a diehard cowboys fan but said he always admired the chiefs. have fun at texas stadium archie!! just remember that hole in the roof is so god can watch his cowboys!!

If you get a chance take the tour of the stadium is not to be missed, got to sit in JJ's chair in his box, check the locker room(they have little chalkboards in front of each locker), allows them to erase you in a heartbeat, and finally you get to go on the field, man there are so many memories....
