I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan and long time CZ lurker, but couldn't see the posts any more so decided to jump in.

We get most of the games here in Houston unless the Texans are playing at the same time, then I follow the game threads here and watch it later on NFL Network or NFL+. I attended a couple games at Texas Stadium back in the day, but haven't been to AT&T yet, looking forward to doing that one day soon!

My guess is that he feels like Dak needs to start off the game with the lead, to build his confidence. Sadly, they rarely score TDs on the first possession.
