How's Jaylon been doing lately?

afraid of contact. Are you truly blind?

He purposely avoids contact at times. There's been a number of threads and Gifs posted. You can even look at his pre draft videos and see it.

That play was not intentional avoidance of contact. He has struggled to stop due to the leg issue. It gotten better since that game but it's still an issue.

I don't disagree that he might have avoided contact at times but that play is not one of them.

you said AFRAID OF CONTACT. Nothing but what you want it to be - just pure BS

There was a play earlier this year where he was literally blocked up the field and off the screen.

He's playing better, so that means the arrow is pointing up as he gets physically and mentally stronger.

I believe that was one the knocks against him coming out. I know Broaddus said as much and that was why he preferred Myles Jack. I haven't noticed anything to contradict that. Some said a "chase" LB, that seems to be his strengths so far, which again makes him good for that Will. I think a contrast would be Hitch - he'll just smash it up in there. Next draft I hope they go heavy on LBs,lineman on both sides ($$$) and I think if Dak improves as a pocket passer I'm fine with the WRs we have. Just need to be able to beat teams up (assuming our secondary isn't fool's gold)

yeah but how far will he go is the great debate
with his work ethic i think he will go as far as he is able
but that still doesnt answer the question because we dont know how truly limited he is physically or mentally
i believe he has much more to improve
i also believe Jaylon will always be a player that makes exciting splash plays and will have those terrible plays at times
he will never be the consistent blue chip player Sean Lee is imo

Must get a WR early.

Lee/Hitchens/Jalen >> Dez/TWill/Beasley

Ah, if you saying “no, no, no...he really is good.”

How convincing.

It's always interesting how people hold onto angst and the emotional response I get from some people.

This is an absolutely worthless attack you have here. You simultaneously claim my analysis is facile and do not bother to read the thread. I talk about how he takes on blocks, his play recognition, his movement skills, and other specific facets of his game yet your reading skills garnered you a qualitative generalization like "good."

Anywho, just curious what you think these mindless attacks accomplish? If it makes you feel better it only seems to help fleetingly. You should try a different approach.

He took on a block. That was not avoiding contact. Really it just looks like he took a bad angle and overran it to me. That is one of the things he has improved on.
