We really missed Hoyte against the Falcons. JuJo most of all. I hope he is ok by next Monday.

we missed his lead blocking. However, Polite gives us more versatility in the passing game. He had two nice catches. However, his lead blocking leaves a lot to be desired. Like Parcells said once, JJ has to make his own holes every once in a while. MBIII does.

Good point about Polite. He had some big 3rd down conversions.

Julius hasn't been running all that great with Hoyte. I think Hoyte's good, I just think in some ways Julius has regressed. I just did a quick chart of the game and Julius was pretty poor. He has mediocre vision and isn't very good at breaking tackles. Worst of all he doesn't cut like he did back in 2004. I think that's a big reason why Barber is running better. Barber doesn't have exotic cutting moves like LT2 or Reggie Bush, but he's good at making just enough of a cut in tight spaces and he can break a tackle and in all has better vision. Right now Julius is becoming more of a straight line runner. Oddly enough, I like Julius' receiving skills over Marion's right now. I wouldn't be too surprised to see them switch roles next season only except Marion still getting time in short yardage because he's so good at it.

YR...u think JJ is refusing to cut or making the wrong cut? I saw him make the wong cut at least twice, but it just seems like he refuses to cut...just like the announcer said...content to put his head down and try to run through the pile...

Yeah I think they should switch roles right now. JuJo would get a lot more room in 3rd down situations.

I think he is running the way BP is telling him.

Why doesn't BP tell MBIII to run the same way? Julius simply is lacking the vision right now. I just don't get it. It was there his rookie year.

Coach Parcells "Run into piles! Don't make cuts to get extra yardage! We don't want extra yardage!"

You obviously have not been following JuJo's career or listened to BP comments since he was a rookie.

You think Parcells would make somebody worse on purpose.
I think that's the most ******** assumption I've ever heard. Sorry.

I never said it was on purpose. BP got on JuJo for straying away from the designed hole. He preached patience on waiting for the holes to develop and he bulked him up.

JuJo is constantly getting hit in the backfield while Barber has huge holes. The last play JuJo had space he went 70+ yards for the TD and made two great cuts in the process. Granted he has missed some holes but so does every RB.

JJ showed fine vision and moves in 2004. What has changed? He has not lost the vision; he still has the quickness. What has changed is that BP has preached and bullied and demanded that he follow the play no matter what. How many times this year has BP SAID that JJ is running the way he- BP- wants him to? He has said it in at least 2 press conferences that I can remember; its been in several articles. What more do you gomers want?

JJ is running into the LOS too fast and not allowing the holes to open up. He needs to take another step back in his set or slow down and give the OL a chance to open some seams so he pick a hole. Right now all he sees is a huge pile without holes so he just dives in to get whatever yds he can.

I saw Polite get BLOWN UP a few times in the Atlanta game, that just doesn't happen when Hoyte is there, he's a monster.
