Seriously though, it's just not fair to compare the two at this stage of Dak's career. The one constant that has not changed from Tony to Dak is scoring 30+ points and losing.

It has been the lack of defense around here forever.

It's true its not fair, but until Dak can hit a outside WR on a 10-15 yard in pattern its going to be tough for him. All you have to do is crowd the middle to take away the run, TE, and slot WR. Dak can throw the long ball to the sideline but that's about it right now.

Having said that, we still scored 30 and lost because of two turnovers and the inability to stop the run.

I dont think today's defense was bad at all. That was a very good offense and they held them down fairly well. Incidentally, the winning coach today was Garrett as well. I realize you are referring to a much larger cross section of games, but at the same time, credit where it's due...

Notice he has been hitting a lot of these routes during the 3 game win streak. It makes us very difficult to defend.
