I’ll admit it. I’m an addict.

God, it’s killing me! Let’ getting it rolling. We’ve got around 5 months till we see the boys in action again. I need my fix. I’m jonesing big time. I’ll admit it, I ‘m totally addicted to cowboys football.

I just watched that replay of Roy causing the Broncos to fumble on the 10yd line and Tnew recovering. What an awesome play, I mean #%*! unreal. I can’t believe we didn’t get any points out of that. We have improved so much. Just a few more depth issues and yes yes yes. There will be a screaming “yes” in a lot of games and maybe the big "yes" at the end of it all.

Here’s a hypothetically question. If some judge ordered you to choose between divorcing your wife or following the cowboys, I mean he said you would have to stop cold turkey or your lovely wife would go bye-bye (not your kids of coarse), what would you choose? I mean honestly. For those of you not married think of your girlfriend (only more nagging) :)

The draft is actually my favorite pro sports event. I love the research and playing the hypotheticals, the possible trades, suprise picks, guys that fall, bargain hunting, the possibilities, the potential......the season itself is too stressful for me. I have to have all soft pillows around because i start throwing things. For the Boys to win, is mere relief and little rejoicing. To lose ruins my week.
I'm not sure at what point it became an addiction but I haven't been able to quit the Cowboys (there's a brokeback joke in there somewhere) even all the time i was deployed.

Since you really get into the draft, I'm wondering if you've seen Montavious Stanley play? Why might he drop to the seventh? What do you think of Steve Fifita? I think we need to draft some big boy there in the middle. The NT position has me most concerned right now.

Yeah, good thing we don't have to choose. I'm really not expecting many married men to reply, I mean what if their wife reads this? Hopefully she'll have a sense of humor.

I'm not a married man, but when halftime comes...that is when the G/F have our "us" time...if you know what I mean. And I can usually time it right..the conversation I mean...I'm back by kickoff...

I'm glad i'm not the only one. My friends and family think i'm crazy. It's not even that I like to win, I just hate it win the Cowboys loose. And if they loose to the skins or the eagles it makes it even worse. In the past 6-7 years I've become more wrapped up in the draft. It's really the most exiting time of the year if your not going to the playoffs.

some of u are such chauvinists... :p:

I realize I'm not the avg female, but dang. Slip the lil lady some mmm-mmm time and she'll leave u to ur football is so chauvinistic...

Honestly, if u have a good mate, she'll leave u alone like most of my friends who aren't into sports like I am. Most of them treat it as time to do their own thing vs worrying about u guys.

That said I'm missing football pretty major right now, too.

My wife never bothers me during the game, and i dont have to do anything special to get my time.

I do however send her to the mall with a credit card on occasion as a thank you :)

We scored a touchdown after that turnover btw.

Today, my gf mentioned how much she misses watching the Cowboys.

She's a very gentle spirit...who sits there screaming for blood during games.

Best comment ever from her...the first game she watched was the Monday nighter vs the Commanders :banghead: ...when we lost, she turned to me and asked "Does someone get punished for this?"

Parcells should hire her as an assistant.

Second funniest comment....after watching another QB scramble...she emphatically stated, "Hey, he's not allowed to do that!"

She had gotten so accustomed to seeing Bledsoe stand in the pocket like a tree that she just assumed, the QB couldn't run with the ball.

So, I lucked out. I have a wonderful woman who also LOVES the Cowboys.

Well I'm not married yet because I'm only 18 and still in high school. I have joked with my gf in the past that if it was between her and the Cowboys, I'd choose the Cowboys. Sometimes I don't think she knows if I'm serious or not lol.

Well, women are like buses...if you miss out on one, another one will be along shortly! But, there is only one Dallas Cowboy football team...

My wife KNOWS that Sunday's and Monday's, and the occasional Thursday belong to me...and I know that every weekday afternoon is hers (the Soap Opera thing). She does not watch football, but, the funny thing about her? On SuperBowl Sunday she is more worked up then I am, for what, I have no clue! She gets all the stuff...food, beer, dip, chips and what-not ready for the game, then when the game comes on, she goes upstairs and watches stuff like "Trading Spaces", or whatever.

After the game is over, and most of our family/friends have left, it's usually pretty late, so I get ready to call it a night, maybe come to the forum or whatever...and when I go back into the TV room, there she is, TIVO-ing as fast as she can to see all the commericials! So, that kinda makes me laugh, because if you think about it...the SuperBowl has almost become a National Holiday! :)

By the way...women are Gods greatest creation! Every one of them!
