I am 100% Positive If We Didn't Have Parcells...

Jerry would have drafted:

1) Steven Jackson falling into our laps.

2) Santonio Holmes instead of the son of some guy Parcells coached 25 years ago.

Now you can argue that Tuna loved Ware, but he also loved Spears.

Tuna also loved Wiiten, but why wait until round 3 if he was so high on a guy going in the 1st round in some mock drafts ??

I am also sure that we would have drafted Byron Leftwich and not made the trades that landed us Marcus Spears.

Quincy Carter and Tony Dixon disagree with the original poster.

BTW Jones had just signed TO a month before. If you think he was going to go into the draft and pick a WR #1 you are out of your mind.

Tell you where you're wrong? Do you have an alternate reality machine?

How can I prove you're wrong? That's mere speculation. It doesn't make you right either.

In fact, since you said you're 100 percent positive, prove to me that Jerry Jones would have drafted those two?

You can't know that nor can you prove that. It's a merely an exercise in fantasy.

Actually, Jerry deserves credit for our drafting of Ware. Turns out Parcells wanted Spears at #11, but Jerry overruled and took Ware.

Had Parcells gotten his way, no way Ware would be a Cowboy today. He wouldn't have lasted until pick #20.

3) Romo would have been run out of town to clear the way for Drew "The Chosen One" Henson

Doc Brown: Marty, I have set the car to go back to a few years ago in the NFL to help the cowboys drafts and some of their foolish fans change history.

Marty: That's heavy doc, but they would just find someone else they should have drafted and still whine about it.

Don't be an idiot for the sake of winning an argument.

You said Jerry Jones would have drafted Santonio Holmes. You have absolutely no way of knowing that. And you have no way of knowing whether Jerry would have drafted Carpenter. The Cowboys needed a linebacker because Ellis was hurt and no one knew he would rebound the way he did.

But this is mere speculation. It's really, really, really stupid for anyone to state 100 percent positive about a situation which lies in the realm of speculation and can NEVER be proven.
