I am afraid the Cowboys would be playing the same...

...even if Washington lost earlier.

This is just not a playoff team. I am glad we were at least spared the false hope with the Washington win earlier today.

holy ****.

the team's season ended before the game. It is a HUGE downer and we all basically expected this.

I agree- all week I was preaching to everyone not to sleep on the Rams and that they would give us all we wanted.

I never understood why people seemed to put the dubya in the win column before even playing these guys.

The San Fran game should have made one think twice before doing that.

I have to disagree. I think they were sky high and then all the air was let out when the Skins won.

What would they be doing differntly.... and why aren't they doing it now, or all season for that matter?

Certainly you have been in a sports team situation when you were sky high and then something happened to let the air out. It is very difficult to get that back......

It's similar to when UT lost a BCS spot in 2003 because Oklahoma laid an egg against K-State in the Big 12 Championship game. UT went to a bowl game I don't even remember (Holiday? Cotton?) and lost to a team I don't even remember (had red on the helmets). Same thing. You can fight all you want to say it's not affecting you, that you play to win the game yudda yudda yudda ..... but on a subconscious level the let down is absolutely there.

I have been on teams where guys didn't give their all. I myself enjoyed the game so much it was impossible for me to give less than I had to offer.

This is the way they want to end the season? No heart.
