Instead we complain about all we do wrong, even when we win!!!!!!

I just logged on to see some high fiving about beating the most hated of our rivals and all I see is threads about how bad Roy was in coverage, The bad play by the Defense, the offensive play calling.

Man o man, I posted in a recent thread leading up to this game that this would be a nail biter and how important it was not to look past the skins, even though they are a much lesser talented team than we are.

It's always like this with them. Always. This is our division rival. They know us better than most teams. They have been studying us the whole year to get to this game.

You want to take shots at the team but we are winning big, we are winning the close ones and we are coming from behind. This team has it's weaknesses but so far we have been able to overcome them.

Instead of acting like the sky is falling if we don't do this or don't do that, we should be happy as pigs in mud that we are now 9-1 and taking care of our division.

Be proud and be positive. We have a great team and a great chance at winning it all.

I agree with you this was a big win. All week long I read all the posts which were talking about how big a blow-out this would be. And while that could have happened a game like todays was much more likely.

All these young fans who grow up on Madden and fantasy football don't know squat about the Washington and Dallas rivalry. I've seen them all and anyone expecting anything different from Gibbs and the Commanders are just naive and lacking in the knowledge of this great rivalry.

It gets old real fast, any other team we have fielded over the last 6 years or so loses that game today. And give the Commanders credit they played great today. Just not great enough...........

I am finding myself coming to the board less and less after each game. Winning is great, but it seems most everyone wants to complain about our imperfections. It sure has a way of bringing you down after you win.

You know, you want to enjoy the win. No team is perfect, so deal with it.

This is the Commanders ..... this was their Superbowl. And looks like Dallas looked past them.

I'll agree, like others have noted, this was a game where the Cowboys of the previous 7 years would of folded and lost.
Problem is, if this team doesn't consistently wipe up the field with teams like this year's edition of the 'skins, and make no mistake this is not a very good 'skins team, I am pretty sure the result at the end of the season won't be any different than the past 7 years.
Thats is, no SB win.
I will concede this has been a tough stretch of games and a let down wasn't out of the realm of possibility.
But I'd feel a lot better about this team winning an NFC Title and actually having a chance against the Pats if they never let off the throttle.
Anyone see NE taking their foot off anyone's throat this season?
I don't buy all the talk about the "rivalry". This 'skins team would of folded like cheap lawn furniture if Dallas had come out and punched them hard, from both sides of the ball.
Hey, this is a fun team and a helluva lot better than what Dallas has fielded in a long time.
But if you want a SB champion some things will have to improve.
Specifically, the defense needs a catalyst, or catalysts, who has the same affect that Romo has on the offense.

My thoughts exactly. I'll be looking for some quatrains on the jets and Packers from you in the next day or two . That said, I think the whole purpose of a fan forum is to actually debate play, players, personnel moves, etc. Maybe I'm wrong ?? Anyway, each is entitled to their own opinion and I think everybody is happy about the win, but concerned about an obvious weak link in an otherwise solid defense.
