A win tomorrow in ATT against Matt Flynn led Packers will lift the spirits of Cowboy Nation. The Cowboys need to keep pace with the eagles during the next 2 weeks in order to have that showdown in week 17 to advance. Check out the yahoo playoff scenario generator if you want to play around. But the way to get into the playoffs is stay one game behind like we are or better to have that play and you're in game. Also if we win vs GB and Wash and the eagles lose @Minn and home vs Chi then guess what? we make the playoffs and don't need the win on the last game. Longshot I know. But it starts with a win at home tomorrow so you know I will be rooting for all 53 of Dallas Cowboys to get it done.

I do not want to make the playoffs unless we beat Philly in week 17.

But being the sucker that I am, I too am starting to get pysched for tomorrow's game.

I'm excited as well. We just need to take care of our end and let everything fall in its place.

This might sound crazy, but I either want to win the next 3 games or lose the next 3 games.
I either want to go into the playoffs playing well on a 3 game win streak or lose the next 3 to force Jerry's hand to make some long needed changes.
Nothing in between.

I am soooooooooo tired of 8 and 8 seasons.

For the record I prefer the 3 game win streak !

I think it's funny there are fans pumped to see another flame out in December. Does anyone really think this group of players can win a week 17 elimination game? Fool me once shame on you, fool me a fifth time, take the damn blinders off and face reality. These losers are going to fold like a cheap suit at some point between now and week 17. Last Monday Night was the beginning. The ending is all but set in stone. Either Flynn, Cousins, or both will have career days against Dallas. If by some unforeseen events, they make it into the playoffs, we will most likely see the worst playoff defeat in history. That's just who this team is!

The Cowboy's past performance makes it difficult to disagree with anything you posted !!!

Great post! Loving the optimism.

Perhaps the Eagles are due a loss.

Eagles losing next 2 is a possibility. At Vikings, a team that hangs in the games. Any word if Peterson playing or not, I haven't checked.
Chicago, getting Cutlet back, and hopefully Briggs to help their defense. Eagles are due to lose a game which that saying doesn't mean crap].

I would say the chances of Cowboys winning the next 2 games are decent too, but just can't trust them at this point.
home against Packers against Flynn, key here is getting pressure, stop running game, or stop them just enough. I think we can put up some points on GB defense.
At Commanders, with Cousins, which really didn't look bad last year. But against Commanders defense, can score point. But it is on the road with a rival team.

I hope this happens, making the Eagles game a mute point, unless for getting 3rd seed instead of 4th.

I think so too, are they really going to close the season with 8 wins in a row? I just can't believe that. If they do, they are pretty deserving champs.

Not sure how beating GB is in the cards? Both starting ILB's out? The debacle on Monday night?

Fools gold.

I don't think this team is capable of beating the eagles

Well it did at their home once. But things have changed for the worse with the defense. Depending on how we play the next two games will determine the odds against Philly. Even if we're out of it they can still beat them.

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade. If you are excited then that is alot more than I am about this team. Enjoy it.

As for me, I've seen this movie before and pretty much can bet how its going to end.

I got excited before we played Philadelphia for a trip to the playoffs in the final week......44-6 happened.
I got excited before we played the Giants in 2011 for the division in the final week and we got straight tore up.
I got excited last year before we played the Commanders for the division in the final week and what happened....we lost.

It's the definition of insanity, virtually, to get excited about this bunch this time of year. They manage to set themselves up, year after year, to play that final regular season game for the division and a trip to the playoffs. It's like they purposely torture their fans. It's like a trainwreck. It's so bad you can't look away but in this instance, we keep lining Jerry's pockets.

Excited? Me? Not anymore. I'm just waiting for the ensuing trainwreck. If anything, let it be all said and done, one way or the other before the Eagle game. I don't know if I can take another year of losing like that because you can bet if it comes to that, the same thing that has always happened will happen.

You left out the one time we beat Philly. But I get the point. We lose more win and in games than not....recently.

I'm interested in seeing how this team finishes, but I'm not laboring under any delusions that it will be pretty.

That game was a blur due to the mass embarrassment that ensued in Minnesota the following week.

Either way, it all ended the same.....total meltdown.

That's exactly what we need. To make the playoffs and validate what Jerry's doing so nothing changes and we are a perpetual .500 team.

After Monday Nights performance I'm in the hoping for the best but expecting the worst mode the final 3 weeks. Even a win tomorrow isn't going to change how I feel. The Cowboys should win playing at home in a very important game against a career backup QB. If the Cowboys win the next 2 weeks it's still going to come down to week 17 for a 3rd straight season. The disappointments the last 2 seasons and what I witnessed on Monday Night from a well rested team is keeping me grounded.
