My first professional sporting event I went to was the Blue Jays vs. the Yankees where Dave Winfield killed the seagull and got arrested later on. I'd take tonight's game in a heartbeat.

I see the games as a good cardiovascular workout, I regularly get my heart rate up into, and in some cases slightly higher than, my target zone...

I've learned to ignore the chest pains, like a man does...

I can't even describe how much my head and throat hurt right now. I had to steal my nephew's bottle of pain pills that he used after getting run to death at practice earlier today....I'm in a total state of disbelief...i don't have the words to describe the elation/confusion/frustration that I feel right now.

Thoughts...I'll have to save these for another thread...it hurts too much right now.

I will say this though...

I've been one to question the crowd participation in the past...whether or not it was there, or if you just couldn't hear it on the television for some reason or another....

...but I can't stress this enough. Tonight's crowd was unreal. So much emotion.

What a night. I wish you all could have been there.
