I Apologize Bledsoe

For some stupid reason, I decided to watch the game on my DVR this morning before erasing it for the next game. Usually I don't like to watch losses, I go by what I saw on tv and that's that.

First off let me add this. I was the biggest Bledsoe basher this week by far, telling the world we need a star QB and all that. I dogged Bledsoe so badly, it was incredible.

However, after further review of each and every play, I truly have to apologize to Bledsoe. The man had no time to throw the ball PERIOD. Terry Glenn had one of his worst days as a Dallas Cowboy last Sunday. When the game was on the line early on (cause later in the game after the score was 35-0, no one had a chance) Glenn dropped an important first down when the score was 7-0.

That first down would have kept the chains moving, but instead, we muffed a punt giving the deadskins great field position in which they went up 14-0. Another time we had a chance to get a first down when I think the score was still 14-0, after Bledsoe was under HEAVY pressure, Glenn saw that safety #21 his name escapes me (and i'm too lazy to look it up at 5am in the morning) and pulled his arms back from a very catchable ball/ 4th down and another horrible punt that would lead to another touchdown.

After all that, I tried my best to see that Bledsoe was holding on to the ball too long, and I was stunned to see that as soon as the guy took his 5 step drop, a defender was right on top of him, (unbelievable) twice, I saw the deadskins rush 3 people, and he was still under incredible pressure.

Then when he did have some time, he had penalties that broke every good positive play we had of moving the ball. Glenn had his worst day as a Cowboy and so did Julius (in receiving)

So now I am going to be the first to say, we need a receiver with speed and guts. We need an entire new offensive line. We need to either teach Julius how to catch or get his *** on the bench on passing downs.

I won't say another word about Drew and less he has protection and still "F's" up. Until then a word for BP and Payton, (3 step drops please).

But who is going to apologize for his interceptions? Getting sacked and failing to score is one thing. But whose fault is it when he has time and forces a pass into coverage. Sorry but Bledsoe didn't throw those interceptions on his back foot when he was in the process of being sacked. The OL excuse doesn't explain his interceptions. The protection wasn't good but there were moments when Drew had time to throw and he didn't take advantage of that. We were moving the ball and about to score just prior to the end of the first half until Drew forced that costly interception and killed that drive and gave the Commanders good field position. Had we scored, that would have changed the momentum of the game. Instead of being down by 28 points, we have been down by 14 and stood a fighting chance.

Of Drew's 3 interceptions, only the 2nd one was anywhere near his fault. The first one on the first play of the game was tipped way up in the air. The 2nd one was tipped also though possibly forced. The 3rd one was a useless stat-killing play on the final play of the game.

You win and lose as a team. When you win, QB's get tooo much of the credit. When you lose, they get too much of the blame. Bledsoe really had no shot on sunday. If it wasn't Glenn dropping passes or chickening out over the middle, it was Tucker raising his white flag immediately after every snap. Then, when they did have a solid drive, get down to a managable field goal, Cundiff misses that, and Keyshawn loses his mind. It was the single worst team performance in my recent memory, and the scoreboard showed it.

Terrible post....Come on man watch the game.

First INT = Defender made a great play to the ball and tiped it witch caused an INT.

Second INT= Julius MR cant catch jones muffed a short easy pass witch, he not the defense tiped for the INT.

Thrird INT= Bledsoe threw up a hail mary as last resourt.

Those are the best 3 INT I have ever seen.

I know he botched that one, but come on,he's been put in bad positions by Bledsoe all year long, with badly thrown swings and screens, and come up with the ball alot of the time. I actually think his recieving has been his strong suit this year, lord knows it hasn't been running the ball.

I'm getting tired of seeing Julius miss easy catches - Barber doesn't miss that pass.

Watch that play again. It wasn't that easy. He was surrounded, and I actually believe he was getting hit when the ball arrived.

I don't expect my Quarterback to be perfect, but if he's getting his ACE killed every other play, I expect my surrounding cast to help me out a little bit.

That play that Julius missed his second catch on, Drew was getting mauled by a DT, on a 3 man rush - that's sickening.

It won't work. People have already formed an opinion of Drew before he arrived in Dallas. So anything that happens to this point will all be Drew's fault and nothing else.

I guess until your a proven winner like the guy who he is compared to the most Tom Brady. You know the guy, the Diamond in the ruff that New England stumbled across. If your not this guy then Dallas can't win because we have the guy who got injured.

And before somebody says well he was the reason why they won and Bledsoe didn't. Well we have already established this. The whole world knows the Brady is better than Bledsoe. When your career is always compared to that, then IMO you won't ever stand a chance no matter where you go.

I was one of those people too. But I can't blame a guy for something that's not his fault, I'm sorry I just can't.

Nope, ball was a little behind and a little high, but VERY catchable. It went right through his hands. That one goes directly on JJ.

Also...once you break down the confidence of the QB inthe line...he just can't play the same. He's waiting to get KILLED on every single play.

Peyton KNOWS he can pretty much stand there for as long as he needs to get them down the field.

One of most serious backslides late this season was getting the ball deep. Drew doesn't deserve all the responsibility for that.

Drew had a few F-ups this year...not like he INGRAINED in the team/scheme like Favre or P Manning. I have no problem with his overall effort and felt he's done a good job, all factors considered.

That's a rookie QB. A 13 year veteran should know you have to consider a sack an aberration and keep playing like it never happened, regardless of how much your OL may happen to suck.

It's not only the sacks, he was hit about 15-20 times. That will rattle anyone.
Philly game- untouched played great
Wash game- hit 20 times he sucked

I see the pattern

If we used cardboard cutouts for tackles Drew would have more time.

How about the old electric football guys, they could have also. Better holes for the running game also.
