How about the rest of you fans....

First of all the guy has speed and if he adds some shift to his straight ahead speed, I believe we have a starter in Dallas...

Unless he can magically learn to add some wiggle to his running style, he won't ever be a starter in the NFL.

I think he'll have his hands full being the Kick Returner and 3rd RB. He's had his chances to be the #1 RB and simply isn't good enough. He has more speed than Julius but isn't as instinctive or as shifty. He doesn't have near the power of Barber. Not a good receiver out of the backfield. Basically is only good on sweeps.

I think his spot is on the line. I will be fine if he doesn't make it.

He lacks vision, balance, and cutback ability, 3 things a RB needs in the NFL.

He has size, speed, and strength so he is not without skills but he doesn't have enough of what it takes to truly be successful.

Thompson might not even make this team, Phillips likes running backs with wiggle and shiftiness... He's lacking the vision.

I think there should be true competition for the RB spots and may the best man win.

He is a starter on kick returns

He will have his hands full trying to win that job because Dallas likes Myles Austin because of his abilities as young KR and WR more so than Thompson's upside... It makes sense when you look at it, he's too straight ahead no lateral movement to avoid the pile.

I think Miles Austin and Isaiah Stanback will end up being the KR guys.

From reading the articles this offseason it seems like that's what he is developing now agility, cutback ability, and a more better vision.

I believe with his ability Cowboys could make Tyson Thompson one of our homerun hitters.

I was watching the videos from a Philly game from two yrs ago and TT had at least 3 tds if he either juked or ran over the kicker.

Crayton, Newman, Brown, and Stanback will workout at PR guys. I wish Austin would try this. I actually think he'd be very good.

Good running backs don't learn vision, cutback ability and moves in the NFL. The come into the league with those natural instincts. What they learn is how to read their blocks, blitz pick up and the passing game among other things. Thompson has speed and I am rooting for him. If he makes it great. If not that is okay, too because I will be rooting more for the best players to make the team.
