I can understand that fans are upset and dont feel good about going into the playoffs the way we are playing....

BUT

I cant understand they "hoping that they lose to seattle" to get it over with or that you have faith (or whatever word you want to use) in them

Its just wrong... if we beat Seattle... then its 1 down and 3 to go... we will another and we are half way there

• trust

I've always stated:

Seattle is very beatable.

Chicago has a discombobulation at the QB position.

It couldn't be laid out any better for us. The question is do we want it? The team has done nothing to prove to me they do. That said, I'll be in a packed sports bar on Saturday rooting for my Boys.

Now... Having said all that... I would seriously welcome a wholesale change on the coaching staff if we ring in anything short an NFC Championship win.

I desperately want them to win, but I'm not so sure it would be good for them to win if it saves Parcells job because I can't watch the end of the year implosions for another year, it takes too much outta me. I know your being positive, but I know we ain't goin' anywhere this year, because of Parcells mainly and his caveman style of football.

There's a difference between despair/predicting disaster and hoping a team will lose. I think Mick is conflating the two.
