Hey I know this loss hurts alot. I am still realing, but Tony Romo is still learning. He will be better next year. Yes he did cost the Cowboys the game and he choked on the extra point, but I can't beleive people want to draft a QB. The QB does not usually hold the extra point. What about a guard to replace Rivera? A tackle to replace Adams? This team has bigger needs to address than QB.

Well, we do need a competent backup.

Romo will still be the starter, but he needs another offseason of work.

First priority should be a new coaching staff. Second should be some more OL.

I like our talent still, but our schemes are the worst in the league.

What starting QB in the league holds on extra points?

Thats just another example of Parcells mental retardation. Romo should have never been there in the first place.

im not giving up on romo, but i have to wonder could this scar him for a long time, this is as bad a loss as you can have the nfc is so wide open they could have gone to miami

Both these teams are really not very good.

Seattle loses next week for sure.

But it sure would have been nice to get at least one postseason win.

And I hope Romo recovers from this shocking loss and it propels him to work harder, play smarter, and lead this team to where it wants to go.

His confidence will take the entire off season to rebuild.

The dropped hold was the not the worst he looked all night. Just an exclamation point on his short career as a starter in Dallas

romo.. will elvolve into one of the greatest qb's the league has ever known.

Years from now... I hope i find this post and prove myself right!

Not sure why someone else didnt hold the snap at the end... Is this normal for most teams in a tight situation like this?

On the positive side, I think Romo played much more controlled this game.

The ending was just wierd.

But as a QB, he played pretty well, given our horrid OL play.

Get over it. Go figure out how many times Romo has held the ball, then figure out how many times he's messed up the hold.

You don't make mistakes?

i still like Romo but i would be suprised if he recovered from this... those mental things are the hardest to ever come back from... His PC was brutal to watch and felt sorry for him

What bothers me is it wasn't Romo's quarterbacking that lost this game.

It's a dropped hold on a chip-shot field goal. It's not something you 'correct' and improve on. It's likely just a one time thing. It is something, however, I'm afraid will stick with him for a very long time. Hopefully he can use it as positive motivation, but I dunno.

What a terrible way to end a season.

We should always be open to the possibility of drafting a QB early or late depending on the opportunity. Romo may turn out to be good, but he's not established himself as the long-term solution yet, so if someone really promising is available early I don't see a problem with picking him up. It's about upgrading talent whatever the position.

Blame it on Glen's fumble, not for his fumble, we are on the driver seat crusing to the win.

There are 10 other players on offense. Try having the recievers not drop passes. Try getting an O-line that can block. That is not the type of effort I want from the rest of my offense. Tony Romo will be one of the top QB's in this league. He is the least of my concerns as a fan!

Oh, and it would be nice not to have Witten and Glen giving the ball away in such a big game. Everyone had a hand in this loss. Romo played a small role in it!

Any coach worth a damn doesnt put his starting QB as his FG holder.
It is pure mental retardation.
