Where I have to root for the Patriots to finish off their perfect season. Can't believe the Cowboys AND Packers both failed to make it to the big game, despite the 1st round bye... I'd be pulling for Green Bay if it were them playing New England in 2 weeks.

But no way in hell am I rooting for a division rival. I hope the Pats smack the Giants upside the head and send them reeling into their Super Bowl hangover.

And they will. Today sucks, but in 2 weeks I'll be content with the Giants joining the other 30 losers of the 2007 season.

Ugh... and the Pats will be celebrating a perfect season.:

The Pats don't bother me, the Giants do.
Old man Favre couldn't get it done and now these jerks are in the Super Bowl.

Go Pats.

I have never hated the Giants, I used to get them a lot on tv back in Montreal when I lived there in the 1970s.

As the game went on today, I found myself openly rooting for them to beat Favre and his bs.

I hate Jacobs to no end but I will pull for the Giants so I at least could say we lost to the SB champion.

I can't believe I actually thought we'd win a playoff game this year.

Of course, I also thought we'd win last year against Seattle too...

Oh well. I was cheering for the Packers tonite. I live in WI and a lot of my friends are Packer fans....ended the night getting drunk with them, talking about how much it sucks losing to the Giants in the playoffs and our team's being failures for not beating the Giants.........

Hats off to the Giants though. They came in and won.

You could also say that if the Patriots win as well.

Well Wind, that is right BUT I have been told all week here that regular season is meaningless so therefore our loss to the Patriots in week six is meaningless

ah silly me.

I apparently have been deprived of derisive "13-3" chants the last couple days.

Mega dittos Canadian.

You have to hand it to Tom Coughlin. Last year this team was ready to lynch him in the locker room. This year they are all laughing together all the way to the SB.

I don't care much for Jacobs, Manning nor Shockley, but they really got it done, even after losing Kiwanuka (sp??), Shockley, Madison, et. al. AN accomplishment we could not achieve...

I'll be doing something other than watching the Super Bowl.

I didn't watch much of the Packers Giants game, but that spot the Giants are occupying belongs to us.

Total freakin BS!!!

I agree. I really wanted someone to knock off the Pats. But at this point, might as well just have NE finish off their perfect season rather than the Giants come out of nowhere to win a championship. I don't hate NY like I do the other two teams in the NFCE, but I really can't stomach to see those obnoxious loudmouths win a championship. Plus, if NE wins, then I can just assume all we did was spare ourselves a SB loss.

I'm rooting for the NFC East to win the Superbowl. The only way I would root for NE is if they were playing the 49ers.

No way would I ever root of Washington or Philly.
