I'm dying today....killing me...I was teaching my class today when right in mid sentence the Romolina play just jet into my head - it immediately changed my mood.
I can't spin this one, or lie to myelf, or even think about 07'-08' or the draft or Mel Kiper or Spring Training !:bang2: I'm stuck in Seattle ...we should be playing this week - this ios frggin absurd that we are not!
Also , I didn't see ANYTHING on the replay that was conclusive about the Witten 1st down.
I'm sick.

My friend. Its been hitting me a few times a day. Then I watched some sportscenter and it hit hard.

My counter - (see my sig)... Romo will be fine. So will the Cowboys.

A friend of mine at work was looking for the play on the internet. I told him I didn't need to see it. I had replayed it in my mind thousands of times. Sometimes in my fantasies, Romo makes the first down.

I think I've yet to have that good cry I need...

Seeing Romo so upset was genuine, then you look at clowns like Eli and Tiki smiling away in the post game.

You have to learn to let it go.

There is always another football game.

That is why Romo will someday win the Super Bowl, and those guys never will. Did you ever see Aikman smiling away after an important loss?

I can't sleep anymore.

On my 21st birthday, I stayed in. The day after the loss was too much to want to go out and drink.

Sex and booze, sex and booze. And angry music. And Hitman. And attic renovation.

Just suggestions. I'm coping ok. Romo gives me hope.

I'm just curious, how old are you?

When I was younger, I'd get disturbed by mistakes like this. I remember when Leon Lett touched the ball that Thanksgiving game and I went to my room and went to bed I was so sick. I don't think I ate any more Thanksgiving dinner that day.

Now that I'm a bit older and have gone through a three Cowboys Super Bowl victories, these mistakes and defeats don't hit me as hard. Maybe it's all about life perspective or something.

Besides, I doubt very seriously whether the Cowboys would have beaten the Bears. And I don't think we would have beaten either the Eagles or the Saints in the championship game.

With the problems, mistakes and inexperience the Cowboys had, I think they went as far as they could this year.

But what we do have is a future QB, who's only going to get better and who likely won't have to hold another snap for a field goal. That pressure needs to be off his shoulders.

I'm also encouraged by DeMarcus Ware, Bobby Carpenter, Terance Newman (who really doesn't have that much help in the secondary) and Marion Barber.

We have a good nucleus and the "mystique" of being America's Team. We'll be okay. :)

When you lose like this, their's a reason for it. It's to show you things you need to do to become better. We just need to be better and pick up a few parts on the OLine, and I'll bet you Watkins has a break out year next year. I was sick too, but now it's time to get it together and prepare for the offseason. This is where the Super Bowl run for 2008 starts, it starts now in the offseson.

And remember Jimmy Johnson?

He would get fighting mad after a loss.

I remember when the Cowboys got skunked by the Lions 38-6 in the divisional playoff game.

Jimmy Johnson went right to work fixing the defensive secondary.

The results: a Super Bowl championship the next year.

I have almost know doubt that Romo will allow this to simmer in a good way. I think he's going to be even more determine to make teams pay next year and prove he's not a one-year, half-season wonder.

I was upset Saturday night, and part of Sunday, but I'm over it now.

It was the ton of booze Saturday that made me forget and the hangover on Sunday that made me sleep through most of the day. Monday, I feel OK. Not one word out of the Eagles fan that sits near me at work, either.

Outstanding post my man. As an older person I have come to accept losses in a better way. We went as far as the team could take us. Yes, we might have gotten lucky against the ositos, but I doubt it. I feel much better about our future. Jerry!!!! Go out and get a good receiver...

Its tough man, very tough...hang in there. We are all struggling through this.

I am in the middle of editing the saints game, I just finished the eagles game. I cant take the ticket or espn any more today.

I am going to watch the national championship tonight and then watch a funny movie or something funny, maybe some arrested development re-runs.

I think I will feel a little better when we hear from parcells and jones. That is another thing killing me.

Maybe as fans and the team and coaches sometimes we just have to go through one of these, make us earn the win in the future. Makes us really appreciate the wins. It also seperates the real fans from the ...well not real ones.

Keep your head up, I know I am trying.
