True, TruBlue. I had a gnawing feeling back when he fired the kicking coach that he might wish he hadn't done that and, sure enough, he still probably won't admit that he shouldn't have done that, but he shouldn't have anyway. Yeah, I know it wasn't the kicking coach missing any of those kicks, but maybe he was sort of a security blanket for the kickers. Cundiff seemed to lose whatever confidence he had this year and the less said about the others, the better.

If you're going to get rid of the kicking coach, you better have a pretty good self-confident kicker and you better be willing to pay him like a pro and respect him if the success of your close games rests on him. How can you expect success when you get some cheap imitation and browbeat him into a puddle of fear, doubt and insecurity when your game depends on him?

Get somebody good, pay him and respect him.

Oh get over it. It wasn't the OL that let Moss score two TD's in the last 5 minutes to kill us against the Skins. It wasn't the OC who missed the FG's late in the games that would have put us over the top. This team with all the injuries and inexperience on the OL came VERY close to not only being in the playoffs but winning the division.

On the missed chip-shots that cost the Cowboys a few games, every time there was one or two defensive players unblocked, such as the missed FG vs. Carolina. I thought that FG attempt was clearly tipped by an UNBLOCKED Peppers(?).

So, I'm not sure if the special teams line problems were bad coaching, or bad play.

Probably BOTH!

This lack of blocking was clearly evident on Bledsoe, his interceptions were mostly the result of terrible blocking, forcing him to rush passes.

So, I'm not sure if the O-line problems were bad coaching, or bad play.

There is a different group in there for the FG's than on the regular plays. What we need is to get rid of DeHaven and get a real ST coach in here. Our ST's sucked in every phase of their game this year.

Yep...so sick of having to root for the lesser of two evils and were 1 year away .

But hey, Big Bill got a $1 Million raise...at least somebody in Cowboy nation found some happiness.... :
