“Cap strapped” for me means they have no cap room and can’t even restructure to get it. Not at all the case here.

What they CANNOT do is get all wound up in Pickens drama while defensive players are flying off the board.

I’m sure they think they will get two immediate stud starters with the two firsts, but there’s nothing else until the late rounds.

When Dak eventually quits, they will pay dearly for all those restructures, and also not have a QB. NOW is the time to put forth an actual effort. Probably a matter of convincing the cheap kid that winning might be good for business.

I don’t trust Jerry at all however things have changed in how the team handles player acquisitions over the past year. So I’m hopeful that this year’s free agency period will be a continuation of that change.
