I honestly think that we will take a good player and all this pondering seems futile at this point because it looks like we have atleast 10 potential players that we like at 22!

in no particular order

Revis
Ross
Merriweather
Griffin
Nelson
Bowe
Meachem
Ginn
Jarrett
Spencer
Staley

Did I miss one?

I feel kinda bad but in the end there is nothing i could do about it if I had strong feelings about it.

Who does everyone here like? or are you like me, just willing to wait it out.

Yeah, maybe it's because my time goes to the 2 kids I have now, under age 2, but the draft doesn't seem to have the importance that it did during the need years when Roy Williams was available. It's probably the fact that there aren't many positions of need to get all riled up about. That and the new post Lacewell drafts have gone really well the past 2 seasons.

Plus there's the looming factor that all my research doesn't sway the actual decision one iota. Kinda takes the fun out of it.

Actually, you left out Jarvis moss. It's all good though. I jumped off that wagon a couple of weeks ago. Give me Anthony Spencer and I'll be doing backflips on draft day.

That probably means you will be the least disappointed person around when "your guy" doesn't get taken.

i'm open to most options...i've got my favourites, but no one who is absolutely can't miss

I'm pretty open...there's a few things I definitely dont want to see:

1) no QB, OL, TE or DE picked in the first rd
2) just say no to Texas DB's (especially in the first rd)
3) if we stay at 22...IMO the best picks would be guys like Revis, Nelson, Meacham or perhaps Bowe if any of those guys are available...wouldnt complain too much about Spencer, though I think he'd be better value after trading down some spots...I have very mixed opinions on Meriweather...good player, but not sure I'd risk a 1st rd pick on him because of the character issues...if we take him we'll definitely be holding our breaths for some time
4) I dont want Ted Ginn at 22...if we traded down to bottom of rd 1 and he was still there I wouldnt be upset...but he has alot of holes and is a project
5) I wouldnt trade Julis Jones unless there was also a scenario where we landed Adrian Peterson (which is obviously a huge longshot)...you dont improve your team by trading away good players for unknowns and thus leaving you with potentially more holes..other than Peterson, none of the RB's in this years draft (incl Michael Turner via trade) improve us over what we already have...with better run blocking JuJo could be in for a big year..you dont have the kinds of games he has (plural) without having some special qualities....once is a fluke, numerous is an indicator of something else
