The run defense seemed to wear down towards the end of the year. Ferguson could really help here IMO. Dallas would save $2.2 Mil against the cap by cutting him. I believe he's worth that. Think about the rotation with Ratliff and Canty likely starting at DE with Spears, Bowen, and Hatcher rotating at DE. Ratliff could play some nose along w/ Tank....nice depth.

Can move Ratliff to DE for some additional pass rush capabiltiy over Spears for sure....

Had a fairly injury free year on DL all considered.......can never have enough Def Line........

i dont think you know what you are talking about...rat is going to end...he will start...fergy is coming back...he is better than rat at NT...he clogs the middle like a NT is supposed to...RAT only occupied it....rat is a good passrusher...he will get to show it at end next year...with him canty, and fergy out there we will get a bunch of sacks that we didnt have this year from the front line.

I also agree. I noticed our run defense starting to fade 3 games ago. That's when I started to think that we needed Ferguson back badly.

You can't constantly run out smaller guys on a 3-4 line and think it's going to hold up all year.

I do agree the Boys need a true NT so that Ratliff can go back to the outside where he belongs....but counting on Fergy exclusively isn't the way to go. They will need to draft a big nose tackle to groom as well.
