I think Jernigan is more a 1 than a 3 for Marinelli and I don't think they will draft a 1 in the 1st round.

Too early for Martin, IMO.

Not a fan of Jeffcoat.

I have not watched Belue.

Norwood would be a good pick in the 5th round. He is a solid, if unspectacular player that could probably contribute immediately. He ran faster than I expected at the combine and he has decent size.

I'm a big fan of Trai Turner but I don't think he makes it to the 7th. NFLDS moved him up about 182 spots when they updated their rankings yesterday.

I would prefer Kadeem Edwards as a 7th round OG to John Urschel.

Wouldnt be excited about any of those picks. Dont like Jerningan at all. If we go DT in the 1st its going to be Aaron Donald or bust.

Would be ok with Jeffcoat due to keeping it in the family, but I dont see him being an impact guy.

Like the players not the spots taken. Many believe Jernigan could be a low 1st rounder or 2nd rounder.

not a sexy draft but not bad imho.

1 Tim Jernigan, DT, 6-2 #300 Florida State ---I can see this happening. Especially after a small trade down. Think Jernigan can be a 1 or 3 here. Wayyy more explosive than Sharif Floyd but with no where near the consistent line of scrimmage control.

2 Kareem Martin, DE, 6-6, #265 North Carolina ---I think Dallas will really like this player. He looks like a long-time NFL SDE.

3 Jackson Jeffcoat, DE/OLB. 6-3 #250 Texas ---I don't think this player has a true NFL position. He's a lot smaller than his Dad. Think he is at best a SOLB in a 3-4. Not sure his body could handle playing 4-3 DE. UT used him all over and in an old school MLB role some. His size actually fits best there.

4 Deion Belue, CB, 5-11, #185 Alabama --- Belue looks like an NFL back up that lacks upside. Not a bad choice but Dallas has so many needs and a moderately athletic version of Mo Claiborne seems low on the totem pole. Think BW Webb is more talented tho far less polished.

5 Kevin Norwood, WR, 6-2 #200 Alabama ---A player Dallas will like more than me. Not really big enough to have elite size and not athletic enough to be a true speed threat. Looked average on many SEC Saturdays. But the size guy Dallas likes.

In terms of realistic DE possibilities for the Cowboys earlier in the draft, my favorite options are probably Crichton & Martin.

Really like Martin's size at 6-6/272 with 35" arms. He also displayed some very good athleticism at the combine. His 10-yard split, 3 cone, and broad jump, all bested Clowney's marks...and he added a 35.5" vertical & 22 reps @ 225 despite his arm length. He needs to work on his pass rush technique...and also playing with better leverage. Not sure how flexible he is and how well he can bend the edge at his height. But his size & athleticism are God-given...whereas technique can be taught.

You want to convert on 3rd down you throw to Deion Bleue's side... Get him off my College Team and Most Def don't want him on my Pro Team......
