Last game, even though it was a loss, Dak only got loopy on one play- the screen pass/lateral he threw under pressure.
But the rest of the game, Dak looked like a quarterback. He didn't get happy feet and throw the errant interceptions he usually does when he gets nervous.
The interceptions he threw were because the receivers were tightly covered and the bounce went against the Cowboys. The Lions were sitting on the slant routes because they knew the Cowboys like them.
That's on the coaching, not Dak.
If he can keep his poise the Cowboys might actually win a game against a good team.

lee, you are a tremendous, well-rounded fan.

Yeah he's a top 5 QB in the league to anyone who understands football, thanks stop making threads.
No, he is not a top 5 quarterback.
He should not be in the NFL at all.
But as much as I see that is bad, I am simply saying that in the loss to the Lions he never quit.
Maybe they don't intimidate him.
But it's better than he has done in the past.

There are many ways to avoid giving Prescott any credit. You should have come to me first.

What's your angle?

A passive aggressive message if I ever read one

I'm just trying to be fair.
No- I don't think Prescott should be in the NFL.
However, he played pretty steady in the loss to Detroit.
If he had simply played that well over the past nine seasons, there wouldn't be near as many complaints about him.
But I am willing to call it like I see it, and the last game Dak hung in there and kept trying.
He's nowhere near being worth what he's paid, but he payed like a solid backup quarterback in that game.

Well now we now, to be a backup in this league all you need to do is be the Cowboys leading passer in franchise history....if he won a CCG maybe we could talk bus driver starter...
