The gints keep Coughlin, and fire his coaches ,who I presume did what he wanted them to do (he being the head coach and all) .

The Boys are not going have the same coaches (probably) ,because of there supposedly incompetence , but we're retaining the Boss (BP) who told them what he wanted them to do.

Am I missing something here????

Well, I guess that even though you tell someone the plan, that does not mean they can execute it.

I'm confused because you’re making a lot of assumptions and treating it as fact. Dallas has not fired any of their coaches, Zimmer left on his own and thus far no one within the organization has talked about firing any of the coach’s heck they are talking about promoting a coach as DC. How this compares to the Giants I don't quite understand what point you’re trying to make. I do understand that it is a slap at Parcells but other than that rest makes no sense.

Well, in a lot of these cases there are not a lot of proven people to pick from. Especially with todays NFL rules regarding interviewing assistant coaches.

I am just saying, that is the logic, it may be flawed in some cases but not all.

Seems that way, I keep waiting for some rational thoughts and all I see are a bunch of emotional over the top comments.

First of all I never said anyone did or was getting fired.

All season I've been reading here on THIS forum that the play calling sucked, the Defense sucked and the schemes were wrong.

Maybe there was a few here who didn't feel that way but it was definetely the predominate feeling here on the forum.

That being said, Do you believe that Zimmer was going to be retained if he didn't go somewhere else?

And if the OC and the other coaches were doing a good job, why are they talking about bringing in others for the job.

.

I'm sorry , I guess it was kind of a slam at BP, but if the D doesn't play up to par, and the schemes are bad week after week , I find it hard to blame the coaches alone.

The responsibility is BP's.

Who is they? because I have not heard anyone from the Cowboys organization talking about getting a new OC, I have seen talk around here but that has no bearing on what the Cowboys will do. Thus far all I have heard is Bill is taking a bit of time to determine what his future is after that we will either start the process of filling the DC job or if he calls it quites then Jones will be looking for a new HC and if that is the case we could be talking about a lot of coaching changes. One thing I do agree with you on is in the end the buck always stops with the HC that goes along with the job.
