They were missing Bobby Wagner when we played them and were still messing with the Percy Harvin experiment. Wagner completely changes that defense, and w/o Harvin, Bevell has quit the jet sweep college stuff and gone back to what they do best. I didn't watch the game, but they dropped 35 and *600* on an until then very stout defense. They may be overrated, but they are not the same team we played in week six.

Having said all that, I must also say JUST WIN, BABY!

Umm, where did you hear Wagner was out? He played a chunk of that game and put a vicious hit on Romo. Aside from that he was a no factor when he was playing. Then he hurt his toe and his pride.

Seahawks were dropping like flies in that game because Dallas came to play.

umm Wagner was playing but got hurt in the game with the cowboys. ill take the Cowboys allday over seattle. Cant believe fans are still underestimating this OL.

Ok. Wagner got hurt in game six and didn't play for a few games, and it showed. He changes that defense.

Where in my post, or anywhere on this board, did I question the Dallas OL? Did I say somewhere in there that I think Seattle is the better team?

My point, as you will see if you actually read my post, is that Seattle is playing better on both sides of the ball now than they were 11 weeks ago. Is that so surprising? I don't think anyone would argue that we aren't a lot better too, and the fact of the matter is, I'm not afraid to see the Dallas OL and the rest of the Cowboys against any team anywhere, including Seattle in their place. Like I said, just win, and I think we can.

And one more thing. I'll take Romo over Russell Wilson any day. Their offense is pathetic, and I don't care what they did against a deflated Cardinals team.

Ask them about their d then and now.

They haven't played a decent QB in weeks. Ask them how they feel about our oline. They wanted no part of it in the second half of that game. Murray made Sherman and Chancellor look silly while they rode him to the end zone like rag dolls.

Wagner played, he was just stuck to Zack Martin all game so you may not have noticed him.

All I know is the last 5 games, their d has given up an average of 193.6 yds per game. Yes they aren't the '85 Bears, we know that.

If this was the 70s, someone would have broken the legs or necks of Marshawn Lynch & Richard Sherman by now. 2 classless jerks.

2 guys that give it all.... They are both beasts. I would take them.

Imagine our d with Sherman.... Our running game with Mars?

SEA had beaten GB and DEN before they played Dallas. I dont see where this struggling came from.

Poster on another forum said:
Living in San Antonio, Tx, I work with cowboy fans & believe me, they really believe the Girls will waltze into Seattle & beat them in their house 2x in the same yr! Highly doubt it. When was the last time Seattle was beaten 2x in the same yr at home by the same team? Pre-Wilson maybe? I'm not denying that Dallas is a very good team this yr with finally establishing a run game, but I just still think their O has been covering up their suspect D all yr & in the playoffs vs quality teams such as GB & Seattle, they will be exposed. And Seattle's D is playing lights out & will be out to prove that the 30pts they gave up to Dallas was a fluke. I believe that's the most pts they gave up all yr so far. In the last 5 games, Seattle D has given up 33 stinkin pts! Playing Detroit won't be a cakewalk either as they have the #1 run defense in the NFL allowing just 64yds a game on the ground & have major weapons in Stafford, Megatron, Tate, who both have over 1,000yds receiving. So don't be surprised Girls fans if you should fall to any of those 3 teams in either the 1st or 2nd rd of the playoffs.

This came off another fan forum I like to lurk on.

Now I have no doubt that we can go into Seattle and win again. We beat them early when our passing game had not hit its stride. It wasnt even that close the last time we met either.

Speaking of classless, has anyone noticed what Lynch did on his 79 yard TD run? Take a close look at where his right hand is as he crosses the goal line:

Now, Seattle isn't anywhere near the hate level as the Eagles are but the dislike could pick up if they meet in the playoffs.

I agree. It is a convenient excuse. The Cowboys were just more physical that day. Their defense got handled, and the excuses have come up since then. That was also the game were Free got hurt and Parnell came in IIRC. So I'm not buying injury excuses.

I didn't do the research before I posted. My bad.

My point actually has nothing to do with the Dallas Cowboys. My point is in response to the silly idea that Seattle isn't a much better team now than the one we played back in week six. You can talk about the quarterbacks they've faced or whatever else you want, but they've given up 33 total points since Wagner's return in week 12; that's *6.6* points per. In the five games without him? 20.4, including 28 to such flamethrowers as Shaun Hill or Austin Davis or whomever the Rams threw out there and 24 each to rookie Derek Carr and big bad Alex Smith.

If you can't see that there's a difference, well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree--or something.

Off-topic (but loosely related) As I posted weeks ago, the coolest stat of them all (other than 5-1) was the bit of trivia that teams were 1-5 the week after playing us (including Seattle). Now? If I count correctly, it's 2-12, and I love that.

Which is the most physical team in football?

Any team is beatable in the NFC...there are kinks in the armor of all of the teams (including Dallas)...other than the NFCS home game, this should be a good tournament to watch....

Agree. To me , I'm still celebrating how far off I was on my pre-season 7-9 prediction.

We are better, even with a D that we know has lots of room for improvement...

This. I keep hearing that Wagner wasn't playing that game from haters, but he was just getting flattened by Martin.

One of the last plays before he left he game he just got pancaked by ol' no. 70.

Bummer, I never realized Buffalo's win hurt us.

What really hurt was losing to the Commanders on MNF. We would be playing for the number 1 seed Sunday if not for that loss. Yes the Seahawks did lose to the Rams but they were a better overall team than the Skins this year and that MNF game was in our house. Let's see if Seattle does the same this week against the Rams. Zero chance.

Again: please read my post, or at least if you have a point to make that has nothing to do with anything I said, don't quote me?

WHERE did I suggest that anyone was struggling?

One more time: I don't think we lucked into beating Seattle, because of injuries or anything else. I don't believe they're a better team. I never said any of that, anywhere. Hell, I didn't even dispute that they are annoying (Richard Sherman) and overrated. My one and only reason for responding in this thread was to point out that the Seattle Seahawks of week 17 are a better team than the Seattle Seahawks of week six. That's it. Case closed. Period. Moving on.

Seattle is good but obviously beatable. As far as #1 seeds, they represent it the best.

Green Bay, Detroit, Arizona, us--no team is as complete as the Hawks.
