Terrell Owens isn't invulnerable. He could suffer an injury and not be able to play for a certain length of time. Should Cowboys fans simply write off the season?

Those who feel that Terrell Owens is indispensible sure do think so.

Terrell Owens will one day be an ex-Dallas Cowboy. Should Cowboys fans simply write off any future seasons simply because Terrell Owens isn't playing?

Those who feel that Terrell Owens is the extent of our wide receiving options and/or offensive weapons think so.

Sorry. It's just funny to me that without Terrell Owens some feel all is lost because it's not.

its funny, because that is one of owens bits. He makes everyone think he is more important than he is. He thinks he is the best player on the team, when he is not and he makes the guys that gravitate to him think they have to have him to win. He also pulls this trick with the fans. They fall for it hook line and sinker. they all think he is the main piece because owens needs to be needed. He needs people telling him how great he is, he cant handle it the other way.

there is a reason guys like troy brown have multiple rings. team first and team all the time. never me.

You have to credit the guy, he is good at that.

the reality is he has never won anything and never will. But he will continue to tell everyone he is the 2nd best wr ever when he is not even the best in the league currently. Its a personality flaw he has and it wont change, especially in Dallas in the current climate.

Yeah, I'd be fine with that because Witten is the best receiving weapon we have anyway and I want to utilize all 3 runners.

Well duh. If the offense is completely in sync, it's proven to be the most dangerous in the NFL, but good-to-great offensive synchronicity doesn't have to end with the lost of any player other than the quarterback. Football is still a team sport depended upon execution, consistency and coaching competency in all three phases of offense, defense and special teams. Terrell Owens doesn't embody all of those, with or without Roy Williams in the equation.
