I think I want Elliot. Especially, if he wows at the combine. I just want an impact player, like everyone, with that pick and one that is a safest pick to live up to being an impact player. I'm not sure he is but so far it seems like he may be.

I know out biggest needs are defensive players. But i would be ecstatic if got the number 1 rb in the draft to run behind our line.

Collins is going to cement this line into a road grading machine from hell.

We need to get either Henry, Collins or Elliott to run behind this line.

Nooo!! Your good feelings usually end in disaster. Take it back.

I am the biggest Elliott jock sniffer here but I ain't taking him at #4 and theres not a snowballs chance in Hades he slides past the Texans. I believe Henry will be on the board at #34 but I suspect that pick will go defense. Now if we pass up Alex Collins in the third round my head will explode.

I like our RB corp right now if Turbin keeps it up and Dunbar comes back healthy and McFadden stays healthy.

McFadden was extremely effective as the starter, especially when they got his carries to 15-20 a game with Turbine getting 5-10 carries.

With Turbin, he played the role well last year as he could get right into the game and get going instead of having to get some carries to get in a rhythm.

And Dunbar is a great receiving threat that can be inserted on 1st and 2nd down, get some mismatches and get 3-5 carries and be very effective.

Part of the reason why I want Lynch is that we can run some read option with him and that will make things even more difficult for opposing defenses and help the running game even more.

And I will base my decision on drafting one of the top tier RBs in next years draft on what kind of production I get from my running game this season.

Ramsey in the first.
Henry in the second.
Next 4 rounds - QB/DT/LB/CB in whatever order gets us the most talent.

I haven't toted the roc in 30 years but I'd love to run behind this line!

They didn't play that great at the start of the year but they picked it up. They are the least of worries they're solid. Defense on the other hand is a nightmare.

If they dont go defense in round 1 id rather they just get a qb. Id definitely prefer they go defense though. I would be for a rb in the middle rounds though.

No disrespect to you, but Dunbar and "healthy" don't belong in the same sentence. While he's a fine utility back, he's only that and not a true running back option, and the guy is always hurt. He's just not made for the NFL game and the sooner we realize that and move on, the better.

(chuckling to self) I was All District at both linebacker and fullback in High School. At the Air Force Academy a player had to have two positions, one on offense and one on defense. I earned a starting role at linebacker in my first practice. Then I was sent over to the backfield coach. I went through two hand offs in a line drill of hand offs, when the Coach told me to go down with the linemen...'He didn't want me ripping an arm off his quarterbacks.'

He's been hurt, twice.

By that same token we should have gotten rid of Sean Lee, Tyrone Crawford, DeMarcus Lawrence, Romo and Dez a long time ago.

RB can be addressed Round 3-5. Im more worried about QB. Cause if u ain't got one it don't matter who the RB is.

There's no quarterback in this draft that's going to come right in and make us a contender if Romo goes down. Especially with this playbook. That doesn't mean don't address it but if they address it will be for the future not now.
