what best describes you?

1. you are a long time diehard fan for over 30 years who is sick of it all and wants change ..but will continue to pull for this team regardless?

2. you are a fan of other teams but posing as a cowboy fan?

3. you are a younger fan in the 16-25 age range who has never experienced the glory days? i feel for those.

4. a casual member who never posts because of all the negativity?

5. you lay and wait for anyone to post anything positive in any way and attack with relentless hate?

6. you've been a fan for so long you can tell that no matter what ...nothing will change as long as jerry is in charge?

7. you hate garrett so much ...it dictates your life?

Number 1 for me.

My first day as a fan was the ill fated 1981 NFC Championship game against the Niners, famous for "The Catch". Lived through the 1980's and loved the glory days of the 1990's.

I love a creative thread. It will be interesting to see how it populates.

I'd say four. i can't stand the negativity that occurs when someone honestly questions the direction of team and are told they aren't real fans--kind of like #s 2, 5 and 7 imply.

I'll always be a fan no matter what changes we make in our FO; lack thereof.

I'm kind of new to this forum, but I see different types of fans and I welcome them all. I love to read other people's view of this team; especially from the ones who have been fans longer than my existence.

I have no fear of posting anything on here, it's the purpose of this forum. Others may disagree with my views and vice versa, but it will not stop me from sharing my thoughts on here.

Lane, I would like to hear your choice and I remember you bringing your family members into many a discussion so why not list thiers too. Fair is fair. For me none of the above dexscribe what I feel but I am always rooting for a win. I am in 1st place in the espn pick em league made up of 23 Cowboys fans and always pick the Cowboy no matter the point spread. Some times that hurts my score. But I rather root for a big win than hope my team doesn't run up the score for instance.

that game was the turning point for both franchises ..

i was 13 years old and it was the most sick i've ever felt.

pearson nearly did a harper....wright with the grab.

but white fumbled after...it was horrible.

I was sick after that game. Just dejected. I was 8 years old and wrote a letter to Joe Montana in complete anger. I don't think he ever got that letter. I remember the Pearson play and vaguely remember him getting tackled by a shirt tale or something of sorts. If his shirt was tucked in he would have been in FG range. Then the White fumble, ahhh who can forget?

You need an 8...life long fan that sees us heading to a good place if we can stay healthy and Jerry limits his input.

And a few people are already lying about not being #5.

I also have a little #6 in me too but I refuse to think that Jerry is powerful enough to keep the fans and this franchise down. I still slightly believe we can do greater things despite the variables he brings to the table.
