Why are threads concerning FORMER Cowboy players moved out of the main board to the NFL Zone, but threads concerning a COLLEGE BOWL GAME, that have NOTHING to do w/ the Dallas Cowboys remain??

As you can see they were all moved but flames take precedent for obvious reason.

No one was arguing over Tech beating Cal.
I woulda thought the Tea sippers would have been pretty pleased by that.

Ok, I'll ask again, you're a "mod," why post it in main board in the first place? Seems to me, YOU guys, of ALL ppl, should be SETTING the example, not thwarting it as you see fit.

When news breaks that Dallas tried to resign QC 2 weeks after cutting him, thats Dallas Cowboy discussion. Comparing QC to Vt is Dallas discussion. Irvin had previously reported on this - Its relevant.

Maybe those that turned it into flames should be moved.

What flames?

Since when is discussing an issue from both sides been flaming? Waffle and I were discussing in a manner that I don't believe, either of us were offended as neither of us posted anything that was "flame-worthy", yet it was moved to the "smack-talk forum". ?!?!?!?!?!

When we see threads on the Main Forum that belong in other forums we usually move them. For instance Mock Drafts, articles about other team's players, college articles, etc. It is sometimes hard to catch everything but we try to keep things in perspective. All the Mods are human, have lives away from this board, and can make errors. Since that is true of every poster on this forum I'd say that for the most part there is consistency. We can't read every single thread and we do try hard to do the best we can. Sorry that it will never be perfectly done.

Geeeez, Poke...first off, you're going to get a strongly worded letter from the "Save the Exclamation Point Society"....I count FIVE in just three sentences.

No need for the "Hey Einstein" comment...geeeezLouise, he missed that the post was from jt...at least he made the attempt to explain what we try to do here.

...thankfully, sometimes we are "too busy to catch" things....and I hope my life stays that way....

just the yesterday i had a thread concerning a player in the liberty bowl relocated to draft zone. at least it didn't end up in political zone. good job mods!
