Why is it when the defense is on the field. they Get tired. and so they start to give up plays. But When the offense is on the field all the time, they cant get tired? I mean if i was a WR running up and down the field, i would get just as tired as the CB?

Or maybe im just missing something

does seem odd, but the offense knows what they're doing and where they're going. defense is always guessing and having to run and keep up.

my only real thought on it for now. harder to follow someone than it is to go somewhere.

I agree. I think it's a reaction thing.
Takes more energy to react than to actually know what your going to do.

I guess.:)

I think its 2 reasons.
1) Its a lot more work playing defense because you have to figure out what the play is and fight through blockers or stick with a reciever where the offensive players just go straight to where they are suppose to go.

2) It also has to do with adrenaline and motivation. If the defense is shutting the offense down, they are fired up and motivated and thus will not realize they are tired. If they are getting pounded on and just can't stop the offense, it just keeps on wearing you down more and more as the offense gains momentum.
