Drew Henson impressed me at times last night. Romo still played betetr than either Bledsoe or Henson, but Henson did look better than I thought he would.

If I had to pick a starter based solely off of last night's game I'd go with Henson.

JDSmith said:I didn't say we were naming a starter. I simply said that if I had to choose based solely on last night I'd go with Henson. He looked the best of the three IMO.
djdoug said:I did say it appeared he had some fight in him.I do feel he deserves a better chance than he got last year.1 mistake and he was gone.I don't think I'd start him right away, week 1.maybe midway if Drew B continues to look like a statue.
InmanRoshi said:Henson makes a nice pass when his primary WR is open. When his primary WR is covered, he looks unsure of himself. There were a few times when I thought he threw the ball away too early simply because he looked flustered because he had to check off.
Romo just moves the offense effortlessly. Its another one of those performances where you think "This guy isn't that great" and then you look at the final numbers and he's got a 104 QB Rating. Just like people said Romo wasn't that great in the scrimmage last week when he has nearly a 100 QB rating and leads the offense to a TD. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts with Romo.
The entire 1st string offense was such a cluster F you couldn't tell how bad or good Bledsoe was playing, but he clearly wasn't rising above it or raising the play of his teammates.
Still 3 more games to go.
Well said IR. I agree 100%InmanRoshi said:Henson makes a nice pass when his primary WR is open. When his primary WR is covered, he looks unsure of himself. There were a few times when I thought he threw the ball away too early simply because he looked flustered because he had to check off.

The out pattern to Terry Glenn on the sideline was a pretty impressive pass. It was thrown on a rope to the sideline off his back foot...but it was about the only one.JDSmith said:I thought Romo had a couple of nice passes to Witten. I would have to go with Romo...the guy with the 100 QB rating who was finding his checkdown receivers and throwing passes with touch to guys that a hard fast ball would not have been able to get to. And BTW he had some nice passes to other receivers besides Witten although Witten (as one might expect) was his best target. It was really a shame that the one play to Crayton got called back; that was nice work by both Romo and Crayton. If I had to pick a starter based solely off of last night's game I'd go with Henson.

Yes he needs experience. That he should have got last year.PaEagleHater said:This is exactly why I don't understand why Henson didn't go to Europe. I know they wanted to work on his mechanics, but he needs game experience.
