Yeah and if Garrard could hit the side of a barn they win that game...
Are you kidding, Garrard played an excellent game and is a huge reason why they were in that game. He was human, and did have a 2-3 overthrows, but he bailed them out time and time again on third downs...plus the guy did throw for 3 freakin TDs.

He did play well and he was under pressure constantly.

Well then he wasn't "Clutch" when the game was on the line was he?

I think he may be in the top 2 or 3 in game-ending winning drives this season. A slight overthrow under duress when the receiver does not even go up for the ball does not make the guy non-clutch. But yes, I'm sure he'd like to have that one back for one more play. I'll let it go...........

This Oline is inconsistently run blocking and that has a lot to do with our offensive shortcomings considering the depth of running back talent.

I agree. I noticed that Peyton Manning was very rarely ever pressured even though the Jags were coming after him. The Colts' O-Line is outstanding.

It is a lot easier to be Peyton Manning when you are able to get the ball out without having guys hanging on you or running for your life.

Not trying to be argumentative but I watched him throw away the last two drives and lose the game, most of which was without any pressure at all...

the way the Jags played the colts. Even though they lost they ran the ball and kept Payton on the sidelines which gave them a chance at the end

The way I seen the game:
Colts have everything wrapped up. Nothing to play for. Except the undefeated season. Even at that, there could be a little bit of a give up, from the players and coaches....they didn't.

The Colts played with more fire and intensity and heart, for basically a menaingless game. More than the Cowboys do in big games where they need a win.

Jags have a terrible pass rush. Amazing seeing that they have used at least 2 #1 lately to address that issue.

I do like how they're building that team. They have a lot of very young talent....especially on that O-Line. Soon they'll draft a QB to begin grooming behind Garrard an in a couple of years be tough. MJD is a stud.

Peyton Manning is the best QB at throwing while he has a defender in his face and part of the reason the offense is so good is because he calls his own plays and dissects where the blitz is coming from...

The Oline is inconsistent period (much like the rest of our team). Look Great at times and look like a bunch of scrubs at other times.

(except flozell who is a beast 95% of the time)

So the other 5% he's getting multiple false starts, leg whips, etc? ;)

If Garrett watches what other susccessful teams do, I have not seen how he benefits from it.

I don't mind if other teams know what we are going to do if they can't stop us. Jimmy would run the same play again and again against a team telling them "we are going to keep running this until you stop us." I would think few things would be more demoralizing than knowing what the other team is running and being simply unable to stop it. The 1st Buffalo superbowl was such a case. Jimmy wanted to take charge of the game and just kept running the same toss-sweep to Emmit again and again with the Buffalo D unable to stop it. That must hurt.

Now, if you run what the other guy knows you will run and they stuff you, that has got to hurt your team. That seems to be our MO now.
