I gave its first go round on frozen tater tots and corned dogs.
I'm not sure I'm going to use it a whole lot as being used to traditional cooking methods.

Any cooking tips you can give me?
Anyone want to post up their favorite air fryer recipes?

My fryer is several years old. I wish I had waited and gotten a fryer with a digital panel and adjustable cooking temp.

I've never ventured beyond frozen fish.

Someday, I hope to make a great grilled cheese sandwich!

I use mine all the time, but mainly for reheating and frozen stuff. Frozen pot stickers are awesome. Parmesan green beans. I like to do fish sticks and make fish tacos. Obviously french fries. It's great for reheating both pizza and wings. I also like toasting grilled cheese or hot ham and cheese sandwiches in it.

Thanks for the reheating pizza mention! I will do that.

I got one for a gift a few years back and after using it I find that it is great for making french fries, especially sweet potato fries. They come crispy on the outside and soft in the middle if you like them that way.

Making fried chicken, or breaded chicken cutlets, which I usually fry olive oil, I think they lose some flavor but they seem to be more tender. I am sticking to olive oil frying for those, with one exception. I have a recipe for orange chicken where the chicken is coated in corn flake crumbs that is better in the air fryer.

I have tried making some dough type pastries that I normally deep fry in the air fryer and they come out awful.

Depending on the size of the air fryer, if you are making fried chicken or cutlets, you may wind up taking a long more time to prepare a large meal than using a large frying pan and oil.

But, the cleanup with the air fryer is definitely easier.

If you have a round one, you can buy liners to keep the basket clean. Things don't get as crispy, but it's worth the trade off for me

air fryers are for beta cucks. Real Alphas cook over fire or eat food raw.

Don't rule it out for reheating almost anything. I reheated some leftover stir fry the other night. It was great. Gave it a little texture. Browned up the rice around the edges a bit. Much better than coming out of the microwave.

I still smoke my brisket and ribs in a wood burning smoker. Grill steaks over an open flame and eat raw oysters . Does that count? Sorry I don't eat sushi.

Burgers are great in an air fryer, as is kielbasa. Corn on the cob is pretty good too.

Any time I've cooked raw chicken breast, it comes out a bit dry and chewy, but I'm not much of a cook.

Raw meat torn off the dead carcass and eaten RIGHT THERE!

a certain crepes Suzette type here probably eats pizza with gloves and a fork.

Luuulz, what a response.
