I hate to say this, but after losing for so long what is one more year? My Cowboys have got me kind of numb to losing now-a-days.

I hate to say this, but I hate to have to hear you have to say that.

I hope the cowboys stay far away from this guy.

This guy is nothing but trouble waiting to happen for a team.

He is a celebrity QB with a me first attitude IMO.

He has IT alright...if you add SH in front.

NO THANKS.

This place and New York would be the last place he should go.

This!

H....Funny thing about Tebow, isnt he the only Heisman winning QB to win a playoff game?

Do you mean as a rookie?

I heard somewhere that this guy won a few:

Just like we don't know he will be great, we also don't know if he will fail. But he's kicking butt at his level right now, that's all we can go on. And as for me, I care about one thing, winning. If he can help us win and we can get him, I'm down.

Manziel is nothing like Eric Freaking Crouch... Other than skin color. That's about like saying Russell Wilson and Denard Robinson are the same guy.

And he absolutely has "it". People who don't think so must not have watched him play last year.

As long as he continues to improve his passing and his attitude is okay, there's absolutely no reason he won't succeed. He should be at least as good as Russell Wilson.

Chocolate, I am no expert, however, it seems to me like you summed this issue up beautifully.......I could not of said it any better. :starspin

And just how bad would the Cowboys have had to be to get him? I don't subscribe to trading away multiple 1st round picks to get one player in a draft. There is no guarantee the pick will make it. We don't know if RGIII can take another knee operation. If RGIII is forced to be a pocket passer, just how good is he? Andrew Luck fell to the Colts because the Colts were the worst team the prior year. Do you really want the cowboys to be the worst team in the league?
I don't think we have to be the worst. But really what is the difference between 6-10 and 8-8? Both have us outside of the playoffs. Would you feel any worse now about last season if we had lost 2 more games? I'd bet you'd feel a lot better actually b/c we'd most likely have Cooper/Warmack and Frederick on the oline right now.

If we're going to be bad enough to be able to draft Manziel next year... I'd take this dude instead...

Lucky if he is even drafted in the first round IMO.

I see bust written all over him.

He's no less of a player (at this point in his college career) than RGKnee.

I think the only thing holding Manziel back might end up being his Ego. He seems like a kid that might allow the "Hype" to get to him.

RGKnee is too humble (so far) to allow that to happen.

My only hope is chronic knee problems with him. That's the only thing that will stop him.

You don't walk into Tuscaloosa and dominate the best team in the land if you aren't for real.

Same goes for Clowney, kid has been dominating SEC tackles since he left Byrnes High School.

You don't do either of those things if you aren't a special talent.

God forbid we are in a position to draft either of them but if we are I'd truthfully hope Jerry just flips a coin because I'm cool either way.

No worries...there's no hype in being the QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

The amount of force he generates in such a few yards is crazy, blew that guy up then grabbed the ball like a boss. Dude is a freak, constantly is chipped, doubled and sometimes triple teamed. He will be the next Ware regardless if a team asks him to stand up or put his hand down. About as can't miss a pick as a guy like Luck.

Johnny Manziel is a great college player, but for the most part, the true pocket passers are ones that succeed in the pros. He'll be dissected by scouts and is probably not even a first round guy at the end of the day.

Well, he didn't really dominate Bama. They won 29-24 in a very close game and Manziel didn't have a prolific passing day against Bama. He was 24/31 with 253 yards and 2 TDs. A good day against Bama but he didn't dominate them.
