Jason doesn't get Romo into a rhythm.. He waited 3QTRs before he started using the short passing game. That is what pissed me off the most.. Also when Choice was gashing the Ravens he quit giving him the ball.. The problem with Garrett is that he isn't patient with the run. Hell Choice had some 2 or 3 yard runs along with his big yard gains, then he just stops handing the ball off. His problem is that he always wants the big play. Jason doesn't want to dink and dunk and grind it out..Notice when we were stuffing the Ravens they didn't give up on the run. And holes started to open up.

You are right. It took Ginger 3 quarters to get Tony going with some short passes, after last week when the Giants came out with almost the exact same gameplan against us. Jason is in so far in over his head, its embarassing that it could happen to The Dallas Cowboys.

all Ds have to do is hold up our WRs, and blitz like crazy

cuz we're never going to screens, slants, drags or crosses

Not never. You forgot JG's requisite one WR screen to T.O. a game.

Didn't you just love how Roy Williams was getting crazy when they got the first... He was like, hell yeah, throw me the ball...

I feel sorry for Roy11, he obviously has no place in the 6 plays that Ginger calls.

Garrett seems to have no confidence in the running game, even when it is working. The only time he likes to run is when he has a big lead.
I thought he'd figured it out the way he called the second Washington game. Wrong. Turns out, we were only running because of necessity in that game with Romo not yet fully recovered.

Amazing that he had all week to think about it, and came to the conclusion that we needed to heave low-percentage bombs to win this game.

That's my point

We ran 2 screens to Choice last week, both went for 20 yards.

We ran one screen to Choice today and it went for 11.

The Ravens were ASKING to be screened to death the way they were playing. We literally could have had a screen or two go for a LONG TD because they had 4 men in the secondary half the night.

I watch some teams run a screen every single drive because it is an incredibly hard play to stop and impossible to stop if you are blitzing. We should have been ABUSING the RB screen play tonight.

I still don't understand that they haven't figured out that Roy Williams is a big WR

just throw him the ball!

Terrell Suggs takes shot at Jason Garrett

Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett interviewed for Baltimore's head coaching job in the off-season.
That was on the mind of Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs after Saturday's game.
"It was personal,'' Suggs said. "You know their coach, Jason Garrett, he turned the job down and said one of the reasons was we didn't have men of character. We fed off that.
"I wonder which team he wishes he was coaching now?''
There is no record of Garrett making those comments. Let's just say Suggs manufactured some motivation.

He obviously missed it... it is not our men of character that lost the game... it was Jason Garrett...

I think the biggest problem is inexperience. Garrett is in just his fourth year of coaching at any level. In my opinion, he is in over his head at this point. He got too much responsibility too soon.

What a sweet option play Jason called. I wonder how much that got practiced. Another instance of him outsmarting himself like the pitch to TO against Pittsburgh.

Garrett crashed daddy's Ferrari into the side of the garage, again...:banghead:

Why do we constantly go long??? Is it necessary? :banghead:

You drank the Kool-Aid - he isn't very good and has mailed in the rest of his career now that he got his money.

Is that why he was getting hype and yelling at the sidelines when they finally threw him the ball?

He wouldn't mind having some more stats, but that won't cause him to practice any harder. He peaked about 3 years ago and has been in decline since then. Detroit pulled one over on Jerry knowing how desperate he was after the Zona loss and the Romo injury.

I don't know why he doesn't move TO more. Put him in motion. We did nothing imaginative.

The Ravens wanted to win this game, we wanted to survive.
