I just dont think I am overreacting by not feeling confident walking into Sunday with 2 WRs. Its gonna be a lot more difficult to spread them out.

The nfl front office is closed today, and was closed over the weekend, so dont look for any trades till tuesday if any trades were done.

I dont know.....I think we stack up pretty well for this game.....the OG play will be more of a concern IMHO

If we brought in an outside WR today, there's little to no chance that he'd play on Sunday vs. Cleveland.

It takes quite a bit of time for WR's to learn the offense with all the reads they have to make of the defense that affect their routes mid-play.

Then it takes quite a bit of time to get on the same page with the QB.

Playing a WR who hasn't been with you through training camp is a recipe for disaster in a game, one wrong or premature cut or changed pattern that the QB didn't predict and suddenly you see one of those INT's where everyone wonders who the heck the QB was throwing to.

I feel better going with what we've got. The only trade I'd make would be if a team like Arizona wanted to unload a guy like Boldin, but even then he wouldn't have much of an effect on our offense for a few weeks. Besides, if Arizona had any intention of trading him, they'd have done it in time to use the selections in the draft or to get their new players ready to benefit them.

Don't hold your breath...we're going with the guys we went to camp with.

yep dont hold your breath for a vet wr, i think the cowboys are standing pat till austin and Hurd get back. Hopefully with one more week Stanbacks shoulder is getting better.

I have the distince feeling though by sometime this week, if trades have been worked out, but waiting for nfl front office to open up tomorrow. That the Cowboys if they dont get a wr, the cowboys will move Jefferson or Amendola to the 53 man roster for a week or two.

Man, I knew we were HYPED, but canceling the season and going straight to the Superbowl is too much.

We are going to go short on WR's this week with Witten manning the 3rd spot on passing downs. Next week if neither Hurd or Austin are back we'll add a JAG at the vet's mininum. Said addition will surely be cut one both Hurd & Austin are back. In the mean time, get ready for 3 yards and a cloud of dust football.
