I know, LT's best days may be over but can/will Jerra resist?

When you have MB3, Felix, and Tashard it makes it very easy to resist.

Yes, but to state the obvious, this is Jerra we are talking about, not some shrewd GM.

I've never known Jerra to be able to resist the "big name" player.

He might say something like "LT will play better being close to home (TCU)" or something like that, although LT, if memory serves, he's from Cali.

anyway, look for Jerra to be at least interested.
Very interesting...

While I'm generally not a big fan of hypothetical scenario's, if we could get up to the middle of the first round for Marion Barber, would you mind having LT as the starter with Felix and Choice behind him? I like Marion Barber, and would hate to see him go, but I have never liked him as a starter. He's best used in dashes and closing down games. A RB who is a threat to take it to the house at any given time, changes how the defense plays, which typically opens up more in the passing game. I'm not saying I'm for the acquisition of LT or against it; but someone who has that effect on the defense needs to be starting - that could be Felix. Who knows...

Barber will not be traded because the cap hit on his new contract would be too large.

How many times does this have to be said? :bang2:

Top of the page. Two dud threads.

I don't know which is worse. This one or the McClain one.

We do not need one single player added to this team.

We have a race car with a GREAT, FAST engine.
We keep lining it up at the starting line, UNTUNED.
We keep losing.

How about we FINE TUNE the ENGINE we gots already!! She can win ALOT of races.

For one, you need to be more selective and, in the absence of that, learn to live and let live, and let your fellow Zoners decide for themselves.

Second, any normal team with a "normal" GM would not have to trouble itself with such a scenario. But Jerra is not a normal GM. His heart is bigger than his brain and his enthusiasm sometimes makes him go overboard, i.e. Pac-Man, RW, Crayton's contract in midseason last year.

Third, I am not saying our current corps of RBs are not adequate (I think we are set) but, again, Jerra is at the helm.

Third, it's the offseason. Chill. Don't be indignated so easily.:)

Let me get this right you speculate and have Jerry getting LT even though he has said nothing of the sort and then you rake Jerry over the coal for it?

if we brought in LT what in god's name could we use him for. i mean maybe MB3 at FB and him at Tailback but there's no need for that. if we were gonna make a position switch like that we could just you felix at tailback. there would be no use for LT in our system with three good runningbacks already exsisting.
