The safety can be fixed with Earl Thomas.

The TE in the draft.

Beard has to come back and play well.

I do not trust the defense to play like this the rest of the year.

And I do not trust Linehan to be able to call winning games.

I'm taking it one week at a time. But the talent we face in upcoming weeks aren't better than us aside from the Saints. They could very well lose out as well but this team has no reason to sit here and fear the Eagirls, Giants, Colts, Buccs or Commanders.

Fact is NO ONE knows what team is going to show up week to week. Since Cooper has arrived and Sua has been put it, it is at least clear the Offense is "Better" and not embarrassing anymore. The D can obviously keep us in games. I think to predict anything beyond each game is going to be a foolish labor.... I hope for the best and expect the worst. Probably better to go about it that way.

Especially in the NFL. Even if it goes according to plans......going to the playoffs doesn't hurt you no matter what anyone says. Even if its one and done. Some of these players need a one and done game. Some have no experience.

Every team has talent. Every team can lose. I was not saying we should win out or even that we would. My point was....there is only one Saints team we face for the rest of the season. If we take the "You are what your record says you are" approach? They shouldn't fear anyone left on this schedule. Play their game and win.

..I see your points. Its a process of one game at a time. Who knows if Jerry picks up a safety 2 wks now? Or even a TE? I also feel your fear with Linehan...lol.. I do too.. All we can really do is hope, that for some reason he will get that One Hot Season and calls what the Dr ordered.
