Watching all the youtube stuff on Donald has sold me.He's just so quick off the line, it seems like he would be perfect for this defense.
I know he's a little under-sized, but Marinelli doesn't seem concerned about that. I hope we don't try to get cute and miss out on this guy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SUK7gVFleY

I know this wasn't a in the moment thing and these are his teammates talking him up, but his attitude and approach to the game reminds me a bit of Tyron coming out of USC. If this team had more players like Tyron who strive for perfection, he's more than worth #16. He needs to be quick enough to split double teams at this level and strong enough to hold up at the point of attack, but I think he fits perfectly in Marinelli's defense.

It's hard not to like the kid. I think when dealing with tackles that are undersized like that and win with quickness it's very hard to project if they can be successful winning that way in the NFL where lineman are bigger stronger and quicker. It's even more difficult for us to project as fans because we simply don't have access to seeing him live, working him out, etc.

He's obviously someone our staff will pay close attention to, as they should, and hopefully whatever conclusion they come to on him will be right.

I want Donald and Pryor bad. I wish Jerry could find a way to get them both.

A lot of people are saying the boys should trade back and grab him in the mid 20's. That he isn't worth the 16th pick. I'm afraid if they do, he'll get snatched up before the boys pick. This scenario is scarey but possible. If he becomes an instant play maker for whatever team then the boys will be wishing they took him at 16.

Can't wait to see how he does in the combine.

I held off for a while on making a judgment on who I want at 16. But I'm there on Donald. I reserve the right to change my mind... but from all that we know about this guy, he seems like a slam dunk pick.

And its this thought pattern that really scares me also!! Trying to get to cute and move down to pick up another third. I want donald in the first and I wish ford would fall in the second but thats a dream I bet.

I think after last year when they lucked out they will try and do it again and miss the one guy they should of just sat tight and nabbed with the 16th pick. I think he is the perfect fit for this defense.

It's not just quickness. The guy benches over 500 pounds.

This.

I would rather do this, than screw up with a project in the 4th, etc. get these two and remain healthy, maybe.

I've caught myself hoping the Bears resign Melton so this kid will make it to us. This is a draft where you trade down if there isn't someone there you LOVE, but I feel the Cowboys like him enough to take him at 16 and only someone like Evans falling will stop them.
