The "thinking man" would QB sneak on inches to go plays rather than fail twice in a row calling lower percentage plays that we hadn't practised all year.

Did I miss something? Has it been written or said that we didn't practice those plays all year long? Also did you ever think that we didn't run the sneak to risk Romo getting his had, or back more dinged up than it already was?

When Romo went no huddle and play calls were based more on Romo's pre-snap reads.

That was the week Plax had his incident, but more importantly the Giant offense was terrible. 20 points is nothing special when 7 were a late run on a worn down Giants D.

That 13 point explosion was impressive.

I'm glad we could roll on a 4 win team.

The same team who decided single coverage on TO was a good idea?

Agreed

All right. So you want to discount the games in which we played nobodies. Fair enough.

So I am assuming you are willing to take into account that of the last 4 teams we played they represented the #1, #2, #3, and #5 rated defenses of the NFL.

Pittsburgh - Dallas put up 289 yards. Looking at their last 4 games only Tennessee did better with 322. I am pretty sure that game was in Tennessee too and not in a brutally bad condition game such as the one the Cowboys played in.

Baltimore - Dallas put up 327 yards. Looking at their last 4 games no team did better than the 327 Dallas put on them.

NY Giants - Dallas put up 321 yards. Looking at their last 4 games that would put Dallas last in terms of yardage. The other teams put up 331, 343, and 328. Hardly a hairs worth of difference there.

I will not bother looking at Philly because that is the one we agree on.

So Dallas played the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th rated defenses and they struggled some but did better or equal to what the other teams were doing against these same defenses. Not really a surpise to me.

I fail to see where JG is incompetent runs to simple of an offense or whatever else is being thrown his way.
